I have been very happy with this Wi-Fi extender. Easy set up and I can now enjoy streaming in all the rooms in my house & outside.

Had an area that needed internet. Connected to the wi-fi and used the ethernet port for a desktop in our shop building.

Successfully extends range across a 4k sqft ranch house

With a distance and two exterior walls between WiFi and my TV, I needed to boost the signal for streaming. This works!!

my wifi signal did not reach my bedroom to use my netflix but no with this item the signal is strong and no more stalls or loss of signal

I bought this to have a better signal on campground wifi. Works great I likethe fact it has built in security and password features.

After complaints from the mrs of spotty wifi, which i disagree with, i went ahead and purchased an extender. After several hours of research i decided to go with the netger, seeing as how my router was alredy netgear i figured it would work easily. Set up was a bit trivial, after a couple of mins and following directions step by step ihooked up the range extender to my router. Easier for the mrs to browse and shop online especially when i am playing some online gaming I dont have any complaints about this device...it has been about 2 months and it has yet to fail me, i also run a netgear gigibit switch through it to hard wire my tv upstairs.

I bought one of these for my house, set it up in just a few minutes and it works great. No more dead zones in the house. I liked it so much, I bought another for my Dad's home in another country. Again, quick setup and it extended their WiFi allowing it to reach the guest house next door. Certainly a best buy for the price!

This range extender was very easy to install, and works just great. An iffy spot in the house for my wireless router is now rock solid.

I plugged it in and connected it with my tablet! Love it! Works great in our old house that wifi doesn't seem to reach everywhere!

I was skeptical of this whole “extender technology” thing but I decided to try it on advice of Electrical Engineer son. Our AT&T PACE 5268 router is by necessity installed in one corner of a 1,600 sq/ft one level house. Several high-use computers are installed in the opposite corner and were suffering from significant signal dropouts multiple times per day. Added this little Netgear AC1200 and we have yet to have another connection loss dropout. For you technos, I was seeing a weak -77db / -79db signal. After dropping the AC1200 into the fray I’m seeing a solid -47 / -49db signal. For the few negative review writers, try a factory default and start over again. I can find no reason not to give this device Five Stars! Very happy!

It's not too hard to install, and seems to work good.

I'm not a real techy person but I was able to install these and make my wi-fi work 10 times better than before!!!!!

Netgear - Universal Wi-fi Range Extender works great and was easy to set up/install. I went from having no signal in my half my home to having a very strong continuous signal. I am a happy and satisfied customer. I had no signal in half my house and the up stairs. I had tried another brand extended and it did not work.
