Our router is on the east wall of the basement and my wife's computer is on the west wall of the second floor. Her reception had been a problem for a while. The range extender solved the problem.

Product was everything it was reported to be. Wi-Fi service was extended to all areas of our house - even those little nooks and areas unable to receive service before. Instructions were not quite as clear as hoped, so it took a little longer than I thought it would to connect . Am very pleased with the product and would have given it a "5" if able to connect a little easier.

Bought this extender to provide WIFi on back patio as my router is in the opposite corner of the house. Works well, was really simple to hook up and get going.

I was very surprised at how easy the install was for this range extender and how well it works.

I have a large house and my NetGear Router did not cover the entire area including the back yard. The router worked great but I needed it to cover a larger area. The New NetGear Extender is great. Now I can get a good 200 feet away from my house and still get good reception. I had a little problem setting the extender up and called NetGear support and they were very helpful and had my up and running in a few minutes. I very pleased with this device and highly recomend it to anyone that would like to extend the range of their wireless router.

Great network extender. Setup took longer than expected since WPS setup with Netgear router did not work after multiple tries. Had to connect to device with laptop and configure in web interface. Once setup it works well. Sometimes devices get confused as to what network to connect to. Not often. Great for legacy devices that cannot connect to WPS2 encrypted wifi networks - like old TiVo wireless on Series 2 boxes. I can finally view Tivo Series 2 recordings on TiVo Series 3 box. Overall, great value.

This range extender did what it said it would. It was easy to set up and I even moved it around a lot trying to find the best spot.

This wireless extender is by far the best on the market. Good price and it definitely extends the range of your wireless network. Just plug this puppy in, follow the easy directions and you’ll be rocking wireless anywhere in your house.

I was trying to get my Roku box to connect to my router (at the other end of the house) but it was out of range. Purchased this device, plugged it in, and Roku now connects wonderfully with fast performance. Since my router doesn't have WPS, had to follow the manual instructions for configuring the extender. In their instructions for manually configuring the extender, after opening the browser and connecting the the NETGEAR_EXT network, the "smart wizard" did NOT start automatically. Had to type in the URL that is listed a few lines below in the instructions. Other than that, installation/setup was a breeze! Highly recommend this product.

I was pleased how easy it was to set up and didn't have any troubles incorporating it into my existing network. The range is more than adequate for the size of my house. Can't go wrong buying this.

Needed to boost my internet range in my house due to many, many hi-speed devices. This product enhanced my internet connection in the farthest room that was only receiving 2 bars to maxx potential( 5 Bars). Highly recomended

Plug in straight out of the box, turn it on, and it does what it is supposed to do. Doesn't get much better than that. Not only would I recommend it to a friend, I have.

I tried the Belkin F9K1111 extender, but it junk. No MAC Address Filtering, poor security and limited options. But this, is just what i needed to work with my NETGEAR WGR614V9 5 year old router and its great! It supports many security options and Wireless Card Access List (MAC Address Filtering) which i need the most. The only thing you have to do is Disable SSID on router and Wireless Card Access List on the wireless router and enable it on the extender. Otherwise, you'll be in for a trip!

This extender works for what I need it to do, most of the time. It is much better than the situation I had before.

Installation was a snap. Sync ing all the computers and phones was harder.

It does the job i needed it for, great with multiple wireless devices.

Allows me to take my laptop and itouch to the backyard and use use wifi.

Love this extender! Works amazingly well throughout the house, and I can reach outside for some distance. For the price, I feel this is the BEST you can BUY.

I am so happy I finally installed this device. It has eliminated all the dead zones in my house. You do have to log in each device. But once in, it'll go to it automatically. It clearly does as advertised.

it does help the gaming and video viewing, extends the signal from the modem to the upstairs of my home
