We have two buildings on our property and wanted to increase the reception on the out building - this did the job!

4500 sq ft house using uverse wi-fi with multiple iPads, laptops, and "smart" phones = we had a problem. Given the fact that iPads don't have the greatest connectivity, signal strength was an issue... Net gear to the rescue. $70 and 15 minutes later, all devices were up to speed. Easy, secure set-up was a snap and we have had zero issues. No re-boot, loss of signal, etc has happened. If you need stronger signal and longer range: look no further. 2 thumbs up!

We recently purchased this range extender. We simply turned on the extender, went to a device and selected which router we wanted to extend and we had signal everywhere. I will agree that I think our original signal was even stronger. Our router is in the basement and we had trouble in the back part of our home getting any signal. We now have full signal. I would recommend to anyone needing a little boost in their wi-fi signal. Thanks Best Buy for suggesting this!!

It took us a good two hours to get it to set up and since it's been set up it has definitely boosted the signal. My house is a large house and my room was a complete dead zone because it's too far from the router. Since setting up the extender I can go anywhere in the house and outside without the worry of disconnecting from wifi.

Thsi product allowed me to connect streamlessley to my internet connection from the shop to the house.

It works the way it is supposed to and is real easy to set up.

For sure is worth the money...it boosts the signal as where i can sit in my yard with my wifi equipment and get a full signal..great product

We have a medium sized apartment and our router and roku player are on opposite ends. I bought this hoping it would resolve the contstant problems we had with the signal dropping. I didn't have as easy of a time as everyone else seems to have, I followed both sets of instructions and still couldn't get it to work. I was planning to return it, but had it plugged in/turned on and went online for something else. When I did, it took me to a netgear page which allowed me to set it up. All in all I've been very happy with it.

Had issues within house receiving a strong signal. Purchases this product and my signal is excellent anywhere in house.

This wi-fi extender was placed in my daughter's house which is next to mine and it boosts the wi-fi signal perfectly!

easy as pie to set up. just follow the instructions in the box and you are good to go. Additionally, $10 less expensive than the "industry leader" competitor. Highly recommended for anyone looking to add some range and coverage to their existing 802.xx network!

Followed all instructions and would connect for a short period of time but kept loosing internet connection and had to start all over. Finally realized it was never going to be dependable and will be taking it back.

this range extender is GREAT...it gets back the signal bars which were missing from the wireless router...

Really easy to set up, and works really well, (surprisingly!) No speed drop off when connecting to the extension.

The room i was surfing the net in i was getting poor to fair signal strength so i purchased the netgear range extender to boost signal for that side of the house and it was simple to install, super easy to setup and was amazing...for the first hour. I was able to surf, stream music and play online games for about an hour before the first hiccup, every 5-10 minutes after the extender would lose connection. I called netgear to see if there was a fix but the rep i talked to only knew how to take me thru the initial set up before telling me to have a nice day. This product would be amazing if it would stop dropping connection. I took it back the next day.
