I cant begin to tell you what a piece of junk this is. I spent nights trying to get this to be stable. At the end of the day the connectivity is up and down constantly. And when it does work its slow. I saw MANY bad reviews on this but I decided that it was probably just the user and figured I would give it a go. Man why didn't I listen. This one is going back to the store. I have not had ANY luck with Netgear equipment. Back to Linksys for me.

Extended our connection Capabilities and we can now reach the living room.

Works great! We got at&t's router/modem combo & the signal was pretty weak at the far ends of the house. Now, my husband has full bars all the way to the garage! I did have to call tech support to set it up, but they were helpful & quick, so it was no problem.

Installation was fairly painless and it worked great for a little over a month. I use it to extend my wireless to the garage for my laptop out there. Went to use it last night and it is recognized, but no internet connection. All the lights are on and green, yet no connection on any of my devices. However, they (all of the devices) will connect to the main wireless router. Reset everything, still no joy. Now I get to hassle with Netgear for an RMA which I will have to pay shipping to/from.

Does exactly what it says it will do. Installs very easy. No drop-outs in signal.

This product works fine for the price. It does work well outside our home. But a little slow upstairs in my home. Overall a good product. Not hard to setup either.

I had 0 to 1 bars in bedroom now I have 2 to 3 and can use my iPad in bed.

I was interested in boosting my signal on the first floor since my wireless router was on the second floor. This does a great job and allows all the devices to remain on the original network. So my server files can be shared to all of my wireless devices - blu-ray, phone, wii, etc. Thank you.

This is the second one I've installed. The first was very easy to configure, the second was a bit trickier. The range on these is better than the existing wireless-N routers, and that's exactly what's needed. Very impressed, better quality, range, and price than the comparable Linksys product.

This signal extender is good and does what it was intended to do but I just wish it was a bit more powerful so the signal strength was better outside around the house. I get about 3 bars on my strength indicator.

When working properly this device, did exactly as it promised. However, one day it decided not to work anymore. Having experienced the horrific customer service of Netgear during a previous matter, I attempted all the troubleshooting tips prior to contacting contact support. The extender would attach itself to my network (network_ext) but I was unable to connect to the internet. After researching this on the internet, this appears to be a common complaint regarding this item. I gave in and contacted customer support and my concerns were dismissed because the device appeared to be registered to another individual. No wonder they only offer a 3 month warranty. So back in the box this will go and back to Best Buy. I will stay away from Netgear and their outsourcing tech support.
