I bought 2 of these Netgear Extenders and have one working with a Netgear wireless router and the other with an AT&T wireless router. They both work great. They were easy to install and get running and are easy to unplug and move around to other locations. Highly recommended!

The instructions in the box were terrible. Online instructions were good (suggested by other reviewers) and easy to follow. If you buy this product, don't waste your time with the printed instructions in the box - go online.

Love this product, I use AT&T Uverse Internet, their modem really performs poorly with WiFi. I almost have to be in the same room at the router/Modem. With extender I have coverage through the whole house. Very pleased.

This was a good fix to my problem. I like to be able to get connected anywhere in the house

Ok, mine was not plug and play for whatever reason. After a 35 minute call w/ tech support, we go the thing up and running. Signal strength still varies in one section of our house but it did get better.

All I had to do was plug it in, wait a couple of minutes for it to find the main modem, then select this amplifier as my connection, and it works. Now I get good connectivity everywhere in the house and outside on the patio. I highly recommend this if you have poor wireless reception in your home.

Captured my original Wi-Fi signal and re-broadcast it as advertised. The extender signal was "Excellent" at the far corner of my property when my original Wi-Fi was only "Good". My iPhone, iPad, and Windows 7 PC all picked up the improved signal.

This is a great extender to stretch your WiFi network beyond the current limit. Lots of options for security that are set via a web page and although they're simple to do, many less experienced users may struggle with all the options. For those, I say go with the basic setup instructions and you'll be just fine.

Easy setup and works as described. Just know it only has one LAN port. Might be best to spend $10 more for the Netgear extender with 4 ports if you need them.

Works very well and sets up extremely easy. Basically you just have to plung in wall and push the router button and sync button on expander. It's that simple. The only thing is that you have to sync again every time the electricity goes out. Since I live in Miami this happens usually once a week.

The first one I bought only lasted two days and it went bad. I returned it and obtained a second Net Gear WiFi extender. This one has been working well for over three weeks.

I got this internet extender for my son. In his room not enough internet but once we installed the extender he is able to use the internet freely.

The set-up for this was fast and easy and for two days seemed to be working fine. After a couple days, it started to cut in and out at random times then, about 4 days after setting it up, it stopped working entirely. It said it had a signal, but nothing would connect to the internet. I've spent more than 7 hours attempting to fix this with tech support and have been disconnected from phone support 3 times (and never once received the call back that they promise when they first answer), been disconnected from the online chat 4 times (again with no way to get back), and received the brilliant suggestion from their email support to call their phone support. Despite having a case number, each person I talk to makes me do a hard reset and tells me that will solve the problem. It works for 2 minutes and then stops working. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT OR ATTEMPT TO GET ANYTHING RESOLVED WITH THEIR TECH SUPPORT! I cannot stress enough how frustrating the entire experience has been, and it's still not resolved.

Not a ringing endorsement I know, but the signal strength with and without the device varies in the location where I work most with my laptop. I have noticed less internet downtime, but it has not raised the speed of the connection as much as I expected. Easy to use and set up. I give it a qualified Yes to the recommend to a friend - BB needs a maybe or unsure button. This is not a black and white recommendation.

I have a large 2-story home and needed a reasonable solution for extending my wireless signal from downstairs to 2 remote bedrooms upstairs - this did the trick!

Had very little Wi-Fi strength at the back of house until we set up the extender. Did exactly what I needed it to do.

Have tried Cisco Router, and Sling, both were affected by interference. Netgear was put in place and solved all problems.

Smart wizard wouldn't auto load w PC. Had to use IPAD. Tech Support walked me through the setup. Manual was useless.

We purchased an "open box" smart tv from Best Buy, but found that we had placed the TV too far away from our internet connection to use it. We purchased this booster, and it helped us to use our internet all over our house, ~2500 sq. ft., and even outside!
