We had a dead wifi spot in our old, thick-walled house. This range extender was easy to set up and solved the problem immediately.

easy to setup (just read the manual and follow it step by step). range, not that impressive, BUT still better than nothing. for its price (on blackfriday), i guess i can't really complain.

I bought this range extender to use with my smart TV. It works fine; however, sometimes when my laptop connects to the range extender's SSID, I gets an IP address conflict, and I have to disconnect and connect to the primary router's SSID. I don't know if this is a problem with my router or with the range extender.

Researched different extenders and found this one to be on sale. I unpacked and set up was super easy. I then used my cell phone to test the best placement of product. I can now get WiFi signal throughout entire house and into pool area. Great product!

I use this extender in many circumstances; have installed in multiple locations with various base routers. Great little product.

Super easy to use, out of box and plug into wall, I have a Netgear Router so two buttons and the thing was working. Super quick and did exacty what I needed. Great product, price was reasonble.

My router is on the third floor and my living room on the second. Wifi for laptops, tablets, and Netflicks was constantly a problem. This Netgear extender has eliminated the wifi range problem at a reasonable price. The installation was easy. Now if I could just get Mediacom to fix the dropped internet problem....

I went to Best Buy looking for a wifi range extender. I recently became one of the work-at-home. I needed to beef up my home network to make it more reliable. This was actually my second choice. I had researched another range extender online only to find it out of stock when I got to my local store. I try not to make 'knee-jerk' purchases when it comes to technology, so I spent an hour or so browsing and comparing other products in store. I'm familiar with NetGear, and the price was right. Once I got it home, it was quick and easy to set up and has been reliable and stable and has done everything I needed it to do. I would buy it again if I found myself in need of another wifi range extender.

Bought this extender since the other one i bought was not simple to set up. You just plug in this one to an electrical outlet find it on your wifi and set it up in a couple of stepa and done. I now have wifi in the bedroom i didnt used to have wifi in.

Extremely easy to set up, worked perfectly to extend the wi-fi coverage I the front I our house (daughters be room), and very easy to switch back and forth between the extender and my main router when I work in the front yard then come back into the back of the house.

Needed to have my wifi extended to a room where signal was weak. Now have a great signal. Highly recommend.

This wi-fi range extender is fantastic! The little box plugs into the wall and a simple set up will allow your router to connect to the extender. I have mine plugged into the back of my house and I get internet in the front of the house. Simple solution to an internet problem.

Was looking for a Netgear wi-fi extender that would boost the signal to my son's downstairs bedroom. We have a 3000 sf split level ranch and out wireless router is upstairs in the opposite corner of the house. I completed the very simple set-up and so far my son is very happy with the increased signal strength.
