I got this one to extend the range of my Xfinity cable modem to my office. Because the one I wanted at first was an online only item which I didn't realize til I got to the store. So the salesman recommended one that was a little more expensive but I had looked at this one online and read some reviews about it so I purchased it also because it was $50 as well as ordered the other one online. Using my laptop surfing the web was decent but kinda slow and and watching videos wasn't as fast especially on my PS3. Streaming Netflix there was some lag but the Tp-link range extender I ordered worked better and was only 20 bucks. So I returned the Netgear back to the store.

Definitely boosts the signal upstairs (modem downstairs) where wifi was weakest.

I purchased this so my network would reach our rooftop deck. I hardwired it to my current router, through the network cable in the wall, and was off to the races. It's nothing fancy but does exactly what I needed it to do.

This Wi-Fi range extender does a very good job in my multi-level home. The main Wi-Fi is set up in the lowest level of my home. This extender increases the signal strength in the other two levels of my home. The price was great as well.

After returning another Netgear model for set up issues, I opted for this model. Its set up was easy. It has not dropped the house Internet and does what it is meant to do, that is, extend the wifi into areas that had previously had a weak signal.

I needed this by my computer could only connect online with an Ethernet cable and this was the best of both worlds with wireless adapter and Ethernet port built in. My big issue was it slowed my WiFi in my home down. It worked and did what I needed it to do but I don’t like slow internet, I chose to split the signal for the WiFi so maybe this caused the issue maybe if set up a new network separate it won’t be so bad. Didn’t try it. Would recommend and your like me.

Price okay for the product; easy to program then just plug it in!

I had a ring video camera that was too far from modem. This device did exactly what we needed it to do. Now the ring camera works with no issues. Great price, great producr. Easy to set up too! Highly recommend!

This was an affordable solution, I very like it. I recommend it!

Device set up is very simple, and easy to complete. I was able to get everything going on the first attempt at setup. I originally bought the item because a room in my house got horrible to no signal. With this wifi extender I am now able to stream video, even though sometimes it gets spotty, it does work and I think the problem is more with my router placement than the extender. But am definitely pleased with this device. Price is also good!

It isn't that expensive, and it works fairly well. It seems to give most electronics in the part of the house away from the router a fairly good boost. It was a little hard to set up though, and we do sometimes still lose our connection.

Price is right, easy set up, and the device works great throughout the house.
