I had some trouble setting this up correctly so had to take it down when I went on vacation will try again as I do not want to interrupted the rest of the family use

There are two rooms in my house I was having trouble reaching. After about 20 minutes of setup my basement rooms are piggybacking off the extender and its great.

It was very easy to setup and works pretty good. Very affordable as well

The product was easy to set up and did help extend my internet signal but I did not enter my password to protect it and I could not go back in and assign a password.

It boosts the internet just like it says it will. Internet was running slow as I am across the house from the router. Plugged this in to my room and it greatly improved the speed.

I bought one of these several months ago with no improvement in wireless coverage. I returned it to Best Buy without a hitch. I later replaced my older router which had B / G wireless signal only. My new Actiontec router has the N wireless protocol, but could not quite get coverage to a remote room in my house. I re-purchased this network extender and followed the simple instructions for set up. Result, instant success with excellent signal strength.

My Wi Fi transmitter is located in the upstairs of my home - my wife uses a laptop on the first floor and I use my desktop in the basement. Power was usually just GOOD (4 bars) but after installation, the power went to excellent 5 bars) Now listen up - Although new transmitter/amplifier shows up on my network and sharing center listing SEPARATELY as it's own entity, the amplifier itself is NOT able to reach the internet. - it simply juices up the current wi fi you already have - in other words, the puny guy at the beach gets extra muscle (2 or 3 bars becomes 4 or 5 bars) It also helps that I have the same brand netgear wi fi transmitter for it to interact with

Reviewed many before deciding on this one. Great instructions, easy set up took < 10 minutes & performance perfect. Don't waste money on more expensive extenders.

I was amazed at the faster speed I received after installing this item. Also the instruction and setup were easy to follow.

The extender works relatively well but will sometimes stop emitting signal. Great for the price, but it could be better.

I bought this item a month ago to extend the range of my home wifi to my man cave. I use it for my iphone apps and to play music via streaming service. It is fairly easy to set up and plugs into any wall outlet. No hard connection is required for the wifi. It works well with phone apps and surfing the net. I have experienced some intermittent disruption when streaming music.

Solved the problem of getting total WIFI coverage for my home.

It works great and easy to set up! I like that it's small as well.

I used this at my parents house that had bad wifi range on an older hotspot hub. Connected it up from any outlet nearby, added to existing network and it just shows up as MyNetwork_Ext with same password. I will carry this on business trips and family vacations from now on!

I purchased this product because I had dead spots in my 2 story home. The installation was easy and the extender even guides you on best location to place in your home. After the installation, I never get poor reception. I am a very satisfied customer, Netgear has been good for me.

This was easy to set, it's easy to use and I can say that it had worked flawlessly for me. I no longer have a dead spot in my house.
