So far this product is working great. I purchased the WiFi extender to hook up a Tivo Mini in a an older house that isn't setup with network connections in each room. Setup was a breeze with WPS and the streaming through the Mini is great, even with HD channels. The router is in a closet 1 room over so I can't say how far it reaches but it works for what I needed.

Works like it should. Great product for the price. I needed an extension to the basement and this worked like a charm! Very easy to install.

It was easy to set up and works great. We now get wifi coverage in t he entire house.

It improves my signal but can be inconsistent at times but overall I would recommend since it improves signal.

Was a little hard to understand how to set up and had to move a couple of times to get it to work where we wanted. Once it was set up it worked fine.

When I first installed the unit in the room where we stream video, I was chagrined to find that, though the signal was stronger, it seemed slower than the router I was extending, an impression corroborated by several reviews. Wifi internet on my laptop also seemed slower. So I emailed customer support, not expecting much because I was past my 90-day free technical support deadline. I was surprised to get a phone call a few hours later. When I mentioned the reviews indicating that the unit was slower than the router it was extending, he assured me that wasn't a characteristic of the unit, and he would help me troubleshoot. He was endlessly patient in walking me through the process of updating the device firmware (the software that runs the unit). As it happened, even though I purchased the unit in March, the firmware was significantly out of date. After the installation, we ran a speed test, and the unit delivered the same speed in the TV room as the main router did in the room where it is located. Apparently, the problem solved.

We had set up a break area in our garage with table, tv etc. and used it to view news and stream videos on our laptops and tablets. Problem was the wireless router for our internet service was on the other side of the house. Bought this Netgear extender and the internet speed almost doubled. Easy to set up and once you find the right location for it, your done.

For the price, happy for the product. Before we purchased, could not get and hold a wifi signal in the master bedroom. With this Extender plugged in half way we are able to use iPads and laptops with no problem. Would have given straight excellent rating, but the signal strength indication on the extender varies from all green to one yellow light.....the router is not far or obstructed from it.

Worked right out of the box, nothing complicated. boosts range nicely, and offers two frequencies. I'm very happy with this product. Great price too.

Extender performs as expected. I haven't had but a few disconnects.

My modem is in my basement so my signal sucked, plugged this gadget in my signal doesn't suck anymore.

I bought this extender because we set up a tv in our basement and the wifi was spotty. It was very easy to set up and works great.

Extender works as intended. Instructions are clear and setup is simple. Only gripe is that my modem is a bit older and I guess I got it in my head that products working off older technology should cost less, but I had recently purchased a newer extender at half the price. It's like being overcharged for a VCR, but I guess if you really need a VCR...

We have a large house about 3500 sq ft. I have always had trouble picking up a signal (from my bedroom) for my laptop from our home office, which is in the middle of the house.we have bought 3 different routers and still the same problem and aalso had the geek squad come out. Finally we bought this netgear range extender/booster! And what do you know, it is great! Finally a good signal!! We had to move the home computer downstairs while we are remodeling and we have to reset the router about every other day. But at least I can pick up the internet from my bedroom on my laptop and my tablet after trying several things!

Now my whole house has a good signal and easy to install as well.
