I relocated my router at the TV instead of at my PC, in order to have Ethernet to the TV. When I did that, the signal at my PC was too weak, so I bought this little range extender. This range extender gives me good speed on two remote PCs that are out of range of my main router. The extender has nice lights to signal the strength in both directions - to the router, and to the remotes. When you set it up, it offers a new network name - the router name with "_EXT" appended. Then you have the opportunity to log into the new network that is sourced at the extender.

Strong signal and easy setup to use it, good price for quality.

Boosted my signal to almost double the range at the house! Have full bars throughout. I had to play with the location some, but it was worth it to provide great coverage. Router is on one side of the house and this unit makes Wifi truly throughout the home.

We did a little research on this product before we bought and found it to be exactly what we needed to improve our internet services. We are very happy with the results. The service rep was helpful in the store as well and answered our additional questions.

This extender was really easy to set up. Improves my wifi signal.

This installation is very simple, much like plug and play.. and it works great, good coverage so far within my apartment of around 1000 sq feet.

Good product. If it is unplugged, it takes a long time to turn back on. About 15 minutes. I am happy with this purchase, though!

Had a router purchased through our internet provider for $85 to extend our internet coverage throughout the house, it no longer worked after less than a year. I was told it would be another $85 for another one. I thought an extender like this would be all I needed. It was! Just plugged it in with a couple of other easy steps and was working. Much cheaper and no service call!

Works as I hoped it would. Wish the range was a bit bigger but I’m guessing had I bought the more expensive one it would have.

This device greatly increased the internet signal in an area that received little or no service. Installation and setup was a breeze where anyone could do it with ease.

I live in a two story house and my wireless router is upstairs. I noticed the wifi signal downstairs was weak and the speeds were not good at all. I bought the Netgear extender and the signal improved but I didn't gain much speed unfortunately.

Overall I was really pleased with this purchase. The setup instructions were very user friendly, and the boosted signal was really great. The only downside is that you have to essentially copy your existing network, creating a second network, instead of just using the same one.

This was easy to set up and get going. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it didn't work for our situation. We weren't sure it would when we bought it but thought we'd give it a try. We were trying to get our WiFi signal to extend out to the garage, but it didn't work. I'm sure it would work fine inside a house to help with dead zones.

This was actually very simple to install. The tech support was laughable, when I didn't pay attention to my case-specific network password, they did not bring up the password issue. Once past the password, it has performed perfectly. This was the only unit I found that was readily compatible with Win8. Save yourself the trouble of trying the others if you are running W8, it doesn't get any better than this.

Bought this so I could connect a non-wireless blue ray to our router on the other side of our house. Not only worked for that, but my other wireless devices now have better connectivity, too.

put this extender in outlet about 25 feet from router, picks up signal and gives me WiFi all over 5 acre yard. No complaints at all, better than the first two models (both far more expensive and did not work nearly as well). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Super easy set great range for the upstairs pet of my home, my home solar panels are able to connect to the extender as well!

Was visiting a friend and talking about their WiFi and how it would not reach across the house or to the back patio. They were constantly going over on their data plans for phones and iPads. Looked on my BestBuy app and found this range extender and showed the local store had it in stock. Went to the local store and picked it up. Placed it half way across the house and in a room near the back patio. Setting up device was a breeze. They now have strong WiFi coverage everywhere in their house. I liked it so much bought another one for myself.

Simple set up. Plug it in - connect it to your main Wi-Fi and go!

overall it works good, definitely expanded my range, only problem sometimes videos will have to buffer maybe once when connected to the extender.
