Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Universal Wi-Fi Range Extender's ease of use, Wi-Fi range, and signal strength. Many appreciate its quick setup, compact size, and good performance for the price. However, some experienced connection instability, and compatibility issues were also reported by a few users. The Ethernet port was a welcome feature for some.

I live in a two story house and have lots of front and back patio area. The router from my isp was ok for the front half of upstairs and the front porch. By plugging in the extension downstairs where the signal was present but not very strong, I now have great wifi downstairs, on the other side of the house and out back! It provides much more than I was expecting.

My wifi does not work at the other end of my house and was suggested to get an extender and this is working real great. Now I can bring any wireless device at the other end of my house and not worrying about my wifi connection

Got this booster to help with the Wiffi signal coming from our router to a TV we installed in guest room approximatley 80 ft through the house--out of line-of-sight from the router. Seems to relay the signal well and allow us to view programming without the interruptions we suffered before from being disconnected from the network

I purchased the extender for my dlink cameras. Other than not wanting to connect with the quick button (I had to use computer connection to set up), the unit works fine. Cameras work great with no issues on internet access, but if phone gets connected or computer connects, I noticed very slow internet.

we purchased it because we have a two story house and our wifi would not pick up a signal strong enough to boost our new smart tv we purchased for our bedroom, so far it has done the job.. but for cellular phone i have not seen a difference in the wifi boost.

I was having wifi connecting issues with my cell phone and one of our wireless cable boxes in certain parts of my house. Bought this extender and moved it closed to where I was having issues and my problems were solved.

This is as easy as it gets. Plug it in, hit the WPS buttons on the unit and wifi router, and they connect. Then find a plug half way to the area that has a week signal and presto, there's a strong signal. Nice. The only thing is, it creates it's own 'network', whatever your wifi is called with '_EXT' after it. So you will need to set up devices in the area to the new network. No problem, since it uses your existing password. Highly recommended.

We returned this because our router was not up to date with this product. If you have a newer router, it should work fine.

We bought this extender for better wi-fi reception in our back room. It was amazing how much better the reception was after installation. Now I can stream Netflix and play my Xbox without constantly loosing the signal. Additionally, the buffering time for streaming my Netflix has also been greatly reduced.

We continuously struggled with loss of signal throughout areas in our home. The base signal is fairly weak to begin with so we thought an extender would further weaken the signal in the main area. This device which was easy to set up now allows for consistent strength throughout the house to Include those areas of signal drop out. We have yet to have any issue after a month of use.

Product performs exactly as advertised. Setup, however, needs someone who thinks logically and is knowledgeable about computers as the instructions are basically worthless.
