Got this to send signal to detached garage!! I have it plugged into the outlet in the kitchen and now I get full signal in my garage which is about 30 feet away

I bought this to extend the range and connect some mobile Devices, The product works well when there a few devices connected. I got this because I have had a great experience with a similar device and it was very easy to set up, I mean VERY, VERY, VERY easy. If you need more range and power go for a bigger range device.

First and foremost if you realize this is just an extender then you should be good. It added range to our existing network. As mentioned it's an extender and not a repeater. You will need to setup a SSID that it alone uses. Not a big deal if you have a device that can auto switch as one part of your network drops off where this one begins. Easy to setup. Took 5 minutes maximum. It ford get s bit warm but not hot. I would still recommend enclosing in something.

This extender works as advertised and stretches out your routers range. It was easy to set up on my mac and then I just plugged it in. The only glitch is it seems to stop sending a signal every couple of weeks but that's easily fixed by unplugging the extender and then plugging it back in. I like it a lot and would recommend it.

I recommended this product because is easy to install it, and does work really good for a small house, please try it you going to like it, before I had just my regular router and my kids complaint all the time about the wi-fi, now the problem is fixed....

It said it was getting good signal across my two story townhouse like apt but my smart TV still didn’t do well enough with it. Moved it a couple times, tried different devices. Apparently they’re just really sensitive though. My laptop didn’t do much better either. Returned.

Worked out perfect. Was able to boost my signal to other side of home. Not too bad set up either.

You will not find a better WiFi extender for the price, period!. This is the third brand I have owned and by far this Netgear has proven to be the best! Just take your time on initially setting up this Netgear N300 and you will find the improvement to be all and more than you may be expecting. Hope this helps in your decision making.

We've had this extender for about 6 months now, and it works great. We had issues with wi-fi connection in our in-law suite and this fixed it. We placed it about 30 feet from the router, down a hallway, and there's a wall in between the extender and the in-law suite. We're also charging some power tools and bike batteries right next to it, but none of this seems to interfere.

It works well for the price but you have to restart it often.

Cheap, easy way to extend WiFi to the backyard or fare reaches of your house. Very easy setup out of the box

Nice to have better signal all over the house. This unit is in the complete other end/floor of the house (main router downstairs on garage side, this one's upstairs in master bedroom. A bit tricky to get set up (the lights don't quite match the installation doc), but once done it's been steady.

It helps in extending wifi in our house. We live upstairs on a 2 floor house and as soon as I plugged the extender, I can get wifi anywhere around the house. I'm fond of listening to Internet music that even on parties, I use my blutooth speakers so I can listen to it and this extender helps a lot.

Works great went from 0 to 1 bar all the way up to all bars easy to set up and I think it’s reliable

My brother is in an assisted living facility set up as apartment-style suites in a large family-style complex. Lot of steel and masonry construction. He has a laptop, Kindle Fire, iPhone, AppleTV, in his corner room on the ground floor where the facility's wi-fi was therefore spotty. Recommend using your computer to set this network extender up...only a few steps that are just plain simple that way. Strong stable signal...NetGear reliable...could not be happier.

Simple, plug & play. extended WiFi to our camper parked outside the house, no weak spots anywhere in the house now.
