Configured extender very close to the router, moved extender out ~150 feet and we now have a strong wireless network where there was none before. Easy setup if you read the instructions, no drops, no resets in over a month.

Useful to expand coverage of WiFi. Easy to set up..

Read the reviews and thought this item would be just what I needed and it is sometimes... I have found improvement however there are times I completely lose internet connection and it runs slowly but there is slight improvement so I guess it was a success ?

we bought a swann camera system that only had an ethernet connector and was at the opposite end of the house as our wifi router, so we bought this extender. it was easy to setup and the instructions were clear, it has decent signal.

Wifi extenders are tricky, because so many factors come into how well they work. But this one made a pretty good (though not extremely great) difference in the house wifi.

Setup was very straightforward. Works very well in my basement with the router upstairs

We had a computer that was struggling to access and stay attached to the internet. Installed the extender a couple of months ago and haven't experienced a single probelm since.

great solution for our house ~ we did an addition to our home and it was too far for our signal to reach. . . now we can download movies via Apple TV or Netflix with no problem!

Excellent overall, knowing netgear I'm expecting nothing less. You pay for what you get. Over your average price, but works extremely well. I have a netgear wireless router n600 on my first floor (1100sqft) and I had a low or no signal on my second floor (800sqft). I plugged the extender and was ready to use within 2 min. I'm connected thru out the house.

Overall a good product for the price but it must be reset if the power goes off.

I found another product that do the same by 19$. I think 45$ is not a good price.

If just needing to expand your WiFi for a little better coverage, this range extender is good. It is easy to set up and configure. The instructions are clear to help you find the optimal location to plug the device in for best boost options. Have used this product before and just wanted one more to amplify signal to cover an outdoor area.

I have bought Wi-Fi extenders before (XFi pods) and not have good luck with them. So I hesitantly bought the NETGEAR Universal Wi-Fi Range Extender thinking let me give it a try. I was very impressed with the product and it is working great. For the price, this was a great buy.
