Needed better coverage upstairs and it accomplishes that. Unfortunately, my iPad, iPhone, computer, etc doesn't automatically connect to the best signal so I must manually change wi-fi source. Of course, this is not the fault of the extender but of the other products.

The unit is very simple to setup and help with stronger signal for 2 level home.

Now that I've had this product a few months I realise that it has good connection about 75% of the time.... I've had to reset it a few times. Probably going to get something a little better later on but for right now it works.

It definitely helps with extending the Wi-Fi signal. my only complaint would have to be with the employee and being very rude. as far as the product goes it serves its purpose...as far as customer service goes one star.

Extends my network considerably. The wired LAN option is also a good addition.

I had one like this before and it worked great, so when I needed a new one I replaced it with another one of the same kind.

I needed a wireless extender (saved on wiring setup from downstairs) to extend the router signal to parts of the house where the signal was weak. It worked like a charm!

I have bought Wi-Fi extenders before (XFi pods) and not have good luck with them. So I hesitantly bought the NETGEAR Universal Wi-Fi Range Extender thinking let me give it a try. I was very impressed with the product and it is working great. For the price, this was a great buy.

I got this for my Mom so that she could improve the wifi signal in an area of the house that had poor wireless. It was very easy for her to set it up and getting it working without needing my technical skills. Would recommend this product.

Needed a boost for my laptop, works very well! I'm very pleased with the item.

This product extented our signal to the far end of our home. However, the lack of instrctions was terrible. I ended up calling 1-800 number and a tech from overseas walked me through the connection to our router. Its not as simple as just plugging it in the wall outlet

I got it because my current wifi didn't reach the opposite end of the house.

A tad finicky every now and then on setup but otherwise an awesome product.

I needed to extend my cable wireless signal from about 50 feet away, and also to be able to extend both my 2Gig and 5Gig signal. This product worked as specified.

Nothing spectacular but it works as expected. Extends the range of my wifi, making my signal usable at the locations where i was previously having trouble. Thinking about possibly upgrading soon as I need more power for gaming on my ps4.

My den for some reason always had poor wifi. I called the cable company got a better modem and it did not improve the situation. So we went to local Best Buy to fix the problem. We told the sales associate what we need and he recommended this model. Since the purchase our Smart TV has internet access, Netflix works always, and my Xbox One has no wifi issues. Would highly recommend!

Easy to use, mate to modem, plug and go! Compact and looks good!
