Works great as a wifi extender but I use mine as a portable router. Many of my relatives do not have wifi since they all use desktops. So when I visit, I just plug it in and instantly have wifi for all my devices. When done, it goes back into my bag without the hassle of extra cables that I would have with a normal wireless router.

My apartment is long and skinny so my wfif doesn't reach well to my bedroom. This helps. I tested it, and download speed went from .45 Mbps to 13.38. Upload speed however went from 7.23 to 6.83. Maybe this is only meant to boost download speed. It is obviously better when I am just browsing the web, but I still have trouble making video calls. One of my hopes for this was that my partner and I could both be on zoom at the same time, so we might have to pay for faster internet anyway. Still, not bad considering that it is one of the cheapest options.

If you don't want to buy another router and just add range for a hard to cover spot, these things are great. You can move it around for special occasions if you need to. It is also nice that it has an ethernet port in it, so I was able to plug a device into it that did not have a wireless card in it.

I was having difficulty getting a good signal on my WIFI when upstairs since my wireless router is in the basement. I looked online for something to boost the signal and this extender is just what I needed. Hooked it up and with about 15 mins configuration it was working. No problems since and the signal works all around the house.

It's really great to use I like it work good for me I use it for gaming and other thing and it work really good you could even move it around the house and bring it to other place too it's really easy to use and work great

I bought this so that I could have better, stable and faster connectivity to the internet. So far, I am pleased with this product.

OK, so thinking I could use the router Xfinity provides with their triple play service as whole house wifi was bit of a stumble. You see, my professional wifi is a noine, but my personal wifi was now a two. So I needed to increase the range of my wifi because downstairs in my man cave I have a Sonos speaker in the back near the bar. You know where guests can sit and eat or drink while the game is on, you know, instead of sitting up front near the screen. And when I'm not listening to my voinyl collection(I have over 3,000 pieces), I listen to the SiriusXM app through this speaker. I enjoy Deep Tracks & 70s on 7, but 80s on 8 is really my wheelhouse for music. The old signal was just not strong enough to keep a good connection, but this booster really does the trick. I can now enjoy my music with the improved signal. I even recommended this to my boyfriend Jonhein who is having similar wifi issues. Great product.

Nice product does what it says! Confusing instructions but not unusual for Net Gear products!!!

I bought this to boost the signal to the PS4 but it wouldn't connect to the internet through the device, I called customer service, got india, and no help either....so I'll try calling again sometime.

I can finally watch Netflix in my upstairs bedroom!

This little device works great for getting a signal outside and to the garage. Also a direct connection for the tv. Reliable device

My WIFI unit is on the top floor and we were having issues with WIFI at the basement level. This unit, plced in the middle floor, seems to have resolved our issues, without costing a fortune to do so

this is my second range extender from netgear. first one was burnt by storm. it does extend the signal throughout my home especially to the rooms on the other side of the house. I get a strong signal
