I bought this new router to upgrade from my old one because I was running into WiFi connection issues. I haven’t used Netgear in a long time, but I know they make solid products. So far it’s been handling my new 1Gb/s fiber internet and all of my wired and wireless devices. I have a total of 35 devices that connect at one time, most of which are wireless. It covers my whole house (I don’t remember the exact square footage, but it’s not small) and has been able to handle all my wired devices just fine, including a NAS that is using 802.3ad link aggregation, a 8 port 2.5Gb switch that is full, and a 8 port 1Gb switch that has 3 devices on it. The setup was simple for the most part, but I had to go digging to find where I can clone a MAC address. Would have been nice if the option was giving during setup so all my wireless devices don’t get all confused. So far I’m liking it. It didn’t take up a lot of space and has been reliable, so far.

The router is fast, has excellent range for a medium size apartment. My devices are considerably faster. The app is great for setup and managing the network

This modem/ router is so much better than the one I had. It was easy to install and format with all our devices. It has not dropped or disconnected any devices. With a large house the reach is great and signal strong.

Straight forward set up pretty simple runs good like the security protection features, this is my 3rd WiFi setup from Netgear and so far would continue to buy their products. They work well and seem to be good quality .

The RS300 delivers excellent performance and offers impressive customization features for managing your network. I especially appreciate the ability to name devices, configure DHCP options, and set up port forwarding, making it ideal for tailoring my home network to specific needs!

Easy set up with the app. Works great, excellent range. I live in a unit with 12 apartments and there is no interference. I have six apple devices and a printer all running together and streaming with no problems or wheels of death.

So far it’s great. Have had no issues. Set up is super easy. And our internet is Better than before.

I'm so glad I got this router. The router that comes from the cable company is just too slow. I also got the NETGEAR Nighthawk because I believe this will last for a long time based on the frequencies.

This router is amazing! It's super fast, and with Wi-Fi 7 my Wi-Fi is fast and secure. I have Armor added to it as well, with my 2 Gig internet speed and this router, my internet is blazing fast. Netgear is the way to go.

I have recently mad the switch to a modem and router for my home. While my gateway had provided was good, but had issues with latency. With this router it has helped smooth out my gaming.

This router was easy to install and manage multiple devices from through the App. It has mantained good wireless speeds throughout the home.

I bought the Netgear RS300 router and am returning it. The hardware is good but the customer support is the worst I have ever experienced. The tech support people have no idea what they are doing and don’t care. No follow up, no solutions and no customer survey. After 48 hours, they delete the ticket. Next, they only provide phone support for a few weeks and after that they charge for it. If that wasn’t enough to turn you away, they only provide a trial period of 15 days for their security and VPN, then charge $150 / year automatically renewing for what should be free. Last, they collect privacy data and the only op out is if you send them a letter explaining why you feel you should be able to keep your own data but they also have a disclaimer that if they grant the opt out, certain things may not work right with the router. No way will I ever buy Netgear again.

Netgear t/s sucks & this router so far hasnt been out proforming my wifi 5 one dats netgear… updated the firmware have a few more days left from by 15day period but for the price it should be preforming better!
