Set up through my phone was pretty straight-forward, and it had the Ethernet ports I needed for my wired connections. But most importantly, it provides a better wifi signal to parts of our home where the signal would often be dropped by our old router. The alternative solution they tried to sell us at the store didn't have the required Ethernet ports, and would have placed booster devices around my home. The Netgear solution was much easier and cleaner, while still getting me everything I needed.

Thank you for your review and valuable feedback. We would like an opportunity to improve your experience with the connectivity of some of your devices with the RS300. When experiencing an issue with connectivity with some connected devices, we recommend disabling Smart Connect. With Smart Connect enabled, that same router broadcasts a single NETGEARWIFI SSID for both the 2.4 GHz band and 5 GHz band. You see a single SSID broadcast when connecting your devices, and the router automatically selects the best WiFi band for each device. Most value for a wifi 7 router

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The RS 300 is from what I have found, is the cheapest wifi 7 router currently available but that doesn't mean it skips out on features. This router is very capable and can support over 100 devices. I use it for gaming, streaming, cameras that are around my house. Setup was very easy and i have had no issues!
