This wireless router just does what any basic user needs it to do. As long as you don't go over 4 devices or get out of a 30 foot range it will work smoothly for you. Plus install is simple enough.

The router has been very dependable so far and has adequate range for large 3 story house, including the basement. Has a nice parental control feature and guest wireless accessibility option.

This is a compact router that works well in a 2 story house. Easy to set up and link devices. Even better than the linxsys router previously.

If you're looking for an easy to use, basic router that still has dual-band capabilities, this one is a great choice. I have had it for over 2 months and have only had to reset it once. It doesn't have quite the range I hoped for though. I have a very small house, and even just going to the opposite end of it decreases the signal strength. I get no signal at all even on my front porch. However, I am still very happy with the router. It was inexpensive and meets my needs.

I bought this for my Mom to use after she switched from FiOS to Spectrum and didn't want to pay the extra fee for wi-fi. It's a simple N series router and works fine for her usage. It was very easy to set up - plug and play!

Good router. Does its job. Only complaint I could have is that if you try to connect too many things Internet goes slower. Should have paid more attention to that detail before buying.

What's to say. this is a Wireless router that works exaclty as advertised. Simple to set up and the software that instals on your laptop is actually useful. It tells you how many devices are online, you can restrict access, create a guest network, etc.
It's a wireless N router that works as advertised. I have a 2100 sq/ft house and I get a good signal everywhere.

This router replaced our old Linksys one. The technology has improved a ton--this was virtually plug and play. Almost no drops, pretty fast for the price

I basically chose a low cost router, to attach to my cheap modem, in a "better than having nothing" type situation when I first moved into an 1800 sq ft, two story house a few months ago and money was tight. I placed this in a far corner on the main floor, inside a cabinet, and I was surprised to get a strong wi-fi signal on both floors, in every room of the house.
On top of that, the backyard is over half an acre and while I was standing at the very end of my property one day and pulled out my cell phone, I couldn't believe it was still connected to my wi-fi with a half-strength signal. I expected the signal to have dropped (like it would at my previous home with a very small backyard, with regards to the gateway device provided by the internet service provider there.)
This is all while constantly having at least 3 devices connected to the router at once. This device is definitely worth the money I paid for it!

This does it all, My whole business revolves around this router. It was cheaper to just buy the wireless router than a switch so here you go. My Internet speeds more than doubled just by my my own fault and hanging on to old tech. Yes, I would recommend this to anyone just wanting a very simple fix to old tech, Its priced right and does the job very well.

Had this for a month, and so far this is a good basic wifi router for the casual internet user. It does the job if you need something cheap and don't need any bells and whistles.

This router is simple and does not have many features. It was easy enough to set up, but it is better to do so using a computer with ethernet, do not try to do it from wifi.

This has been a great router. I brought it home and easily set it up within 30 minutes. It walks you through everything, so you don't have to be a computer scientist to figure it out.
I've now been using this router for a month or more and it has never had connection issues. Past routers that I've used have occasionally dropped signal and needed to be reset. So far, I have not needed to do that with this router.
This router was slightly more expensive than some of the others at this signal strength, but it's been worth it! I'm very happy with my purchase.

The NetGear Wireless-N Router was well price. I was concerned I would have to make changes to the settings on my DSL modem. That was not the case. Installation was automatic and only took a few minutes. The range is somewhat limited but for the price, it serves my needs very well.
