Customers are saying

Customers value the Wireless-N Router's ease of use, performance, and affordable price. Many appreciate its strong signal and wide range, making setup and daily use convenient. While some experienced connection difficulties or compatibility problems, the positive feedback on ease of use and performance outweighs the negative. The router's compact size is also a frequently cited advantage.

    Works, but interface problems abound

Got this router to replace an older router that was starting to go. Trying to properly configure this router was a big pain. The interface is beyond clunky, settings take dozens of seconds to update (my 5 year old router updated settings instantly) and the menus are extremely unintuitive. Had to run their wizard several times AND update firmware (which is also slow) before it would even connect the computer to the internet. Then I had to hunt through internet forums to figure out where they had hidden certain crucial settings I needed to fiddle with. Very displeased in this aspect. That said - once everything was configured properly the router has worked without issue since and performed well.

My only problem is that connectivity is lost for no reason at times. I use my computer almost everyday and this happens at least once a week on average. I have to turn it off and then back on.

Goodbye $10 monthly fee for internet connection - this has been a great purchase for the usage in our 2 person household. I am very happy I finally trusted that I did not have to use the cable companies equipment.

The product is used in a small apartment where the computers are not more than 20 feet away from the router. The reception is very good. Once in a while I had to shut off the wireless and/or power switch because the reception slowed down or stopped.

We had a D-Link before and could never get it to work correctly. We didn't buy the most expensive wireless router when we bought Netgear but Best buy staff advised they thought it would work fine for what we would be doing. So far, no complaints. Works great - at least 2 laptops working at a time and no problems.

Excellent router!!! I'm running a 10/1 internet speed and it works with Mult phones, Roku, laptops, and Samsung player all at the same time and there isn't any lag or buffering due to wireless signal. The firewall was easy to set up with it and you are able to use a free app by Netgear to check system traffic.

For my use is doing everything I need. Looks great, seems durable, plenty of ports. I like the WiFi on off switch. I have been using the router like a switch. I don't have my laptop yet. I like the warranty. The price was alright. Of course like anything one buys a lower price would always be a improvement.

The speed of this router sounds a little slow comparing to most of the product in market. But it works perfect for me who lives in an apartment. So far I don't see any problem. But I've only had it for a month. Hope the quality is good as well.

Our internet has worked flawlessly since we got this new Router. Our modem/router combo got killed during a storm so last minute we went out and bought this with a Netgear Modem and it has been perfect internet ever since!

If you're looking for heavy lifting, this is not the router for you. Try to get a better one with higher speed ratings if you want to cover anything over 800 sq. ft.

Installation COULD and should have been much easier. Manufacturer provided only a "quick set up" guide, and NO documentation for the modem. The info was on-line. But that doesn't help when you have NO internet access until AFTER the modem is installed. Ths was a major goof on the part of the manufacturer.

I'm technology challenged when it comes to this stuff, so maybe I just didn't set it up right but it seems like I have to restart it alot. Someone told me I should change the channel, whatever that means. I'll try to figure it out haha
