The router kept dropping connection until I read an article that suggested that I drop the mode from 150mbps to 54mbps. After doing that, its worked fine.

customer support would not help me connect my wireless desk top unless I purchased the extended service agreement....total rip off After setting up router I needed customer support to finish

The employees tried telling me that this item would not work well for my small apartment. I didn't agree with them and got this item anyways. It works amazing no thanks to them.

This product works very well. I've never had problems with the connection. My only trouble was the set up. Finally I decided not to follow the given directions and it it was quite easy. I'm not technologically inclined, but I can use this wireless internet easily.

I love that this router has an app that allows me to control it from wherever I am. I have not taken the time to explore everything it is capable of, but I look forward to doing so!

I like this product as a wireless connector in the home. It has a fast connection and it may drop off during certain peak times of the day. A simple fix is to unplug and then plug it back up again.

..only complaint is it lacks some settings or I lack the intelligence to change them with ease in prioritizing which things get priority when all the devices are going at once.

I use this for connection to my smartphone, laptop, xbox, and smart TV. I get a dropped connection maybe once per week, but a quick push of the reset button resolves any issues within seconds.

Read reviews on this product thinking it would work fine with Verizon FIOS (50mpbs/50mpbs)...I could have not been more wrong. The stability and speed of my connection, using this device, was abysmal, so I just bought a router that's a lot more expensive (Nighthawk) so I don't have to think of routers again for awhile. Aside that, the setup was very straightforward and easy to do for anyone who's not tech-savvy.

After reviewing several comments and having other Netgear equipment, it proved to cover the need well for the price. Wish it had a little more range in a multi level house.

I had to return a different brand of router after numerous tries installing. The Netgear router installed on the first try and is working beautifully. The young man at the store on my second trip was knowledgeable and helped me decide on the Netgear. Thank you.

This wireless router has nice features in the Web based utility. It even has a guest wireless account feature. The wireless connection was a little unstable initially, dropping in and out.

Is exactly what I needed and performs as stated on the box. No complaints. Took some time to install though and needed help from Geek Squad, but go there in the end. Quite happy with it.

Overall I found this router disappointing. i had an earlier 2008 version of netgear which worked flawlessly for five years. I had a new modem installed from Time Warner cable and there is nothing wrong with the modem. However, the internet on the network is either too slow or not available in far too frequent occurrences. My base PC works fine, there is nothing wrong with the new modem but the signal routed to other parts of the house--especially downstairs is at times awful. I am glad I did not spend too much on this router or I would have returned it.

It's a router that works and works as well as a router can. Not much more to say. I'd recommend it if you need a router.

this the second router of this kind I purchased, I purchased this one because the last one I purchase died so I need a new one to replace my dead router so since I was happy with this company this is what I purchase so far so good.

I had a modem/router combo and it sucked. Thanks Cox Comm. for selling it to me knowing the house is two stories and the product's range is sub-par. Anything to help the bottom line I guess.

Brighthouse informed me if I bought my own router I could save myself some monthly fees. Turns out they gave me a modem/router combo so I no longer needed this router.

Make sure you follow the instructions in the order they give you. If you place one cord in in the wrong order - it won't sync. Should have been more careful when reading instructions but it synched easily once I followed the instructions to the letter

It's a good product, the employees were wanting me to upgrade to a larger one but this one was suffice for what I needed it for.
