Wireless Access Point and router is easy to use esepcially for the novice. Highly Recommend!!

I live on a part of campus where wifi is scarce. This has been a life saver for him getting homework finished! I haven't had any probelms staying connected.

Fair enough - Average wifi internet router. Expected more stable wifi signal. But performs reliably and easy to use to match the cost.

I purchased the 600 ft router for my large split level home prior to my geek squad appt. to set up a wireless network system. The tech said it was defective and had only a 300 ft. router on his truck as a substitute. We wasted time going around the house testing reception. The geek appt. exceeded the 90 minutes and I had no time to question him about how he set up the wireless network or to ask him to diagram the system for me. I have had problems with the wireless system, mainly getting the printer to print ever since. I purchased an N300 router during the geek appt. and had to go to the store to return the N600 router. Since we cant test the equiptment before we leave the store you might want to request the geek squad show up for the set up appt. with more than one router sized for your house., You cant have a wireless network without a router, so I have to recommend that you get a router. The N300 works fine, an N600 would have been better.

This router works well. It was a good deal at $45. I wood recommend having a friend help you hook it up, if your not good with that type of thing. I tried to do it my self, I ended up not being able to use my computer for a few days.

My mother-in-law uses this router at her house. She needed something so that she could hook up her computer and her iPad. Good basic router, one that we had used in our house before we needed some increased speed and bandwidth.

The router's working great. I replaced a simular, old product from Netgear that was not working properly. This router was cheap just 40 dollars great value.

This router was just ok. Distance was a factor in returning this to store. Perfect for small areas

This is not the greatest router or even top 5 but for what it is it gets the job done. I wasn't needing it to do much and it meets my expectations.

Cost plus performance is good. Pretty much 'plug-and-play'.

so this unit is a 300Mb router, but if you have 150Mbs or higher coming into it, it cant handle that speed. I have 200 at the house, and when I use this router, I get 100 when wired and only 50 on wireless. I called Netgear and that they said that was how the unit worked. I tried a factory reset on it as well. I went and bought a TPlink AC1900 and my speeds are 200 on wired or wireless. I am guessing that if you have lower internet speed coming into your house, like 50Mb, it would be ok, but not sure. I screwed myself by forgetting to return this unit within the 30 days, now I get to keep a 45 dollar unit that I cant convert to a range extender.

Pretty good basic router for light internet use. Bought it for my mother who only has one device using it. I'm not sure how well it will handle multiple devices or gaming

my mother needed a new router so we picked this one up. Very pleased with my purchase. It has good range. Covers the whole house as well as parts of her back yard.

I purchased this to avoid having to "rent" the one from my internet company. Seems to work well with no real problems.

I spent 8 hours behind this router thinking I am doing something wrong and hence it isn't working. But....guess what...The router itself was flawed!!! I cannot believe I wasted my entire saturday behind this ridiculousness. I returned it the next day and bought a Linksys one. Guess what...It started working in 5 minutes. I am never recommending/ buying Netgear stuff EVER again.

Router was an updated version of a product which had served faithfully for years. It arrived faster than had been promised and was fairly straightforward to set up. It has definitely improved web searching speed and clarity.

I purchased this for my neighbor. She has a very large home, which ideally this would not be the right product for. However, she only needs WiFi in one room and this is the perfect, low cost solution.

I like the product and would recommend to others. If the price could be reduced, it would make it an overall better value.

I had to set up a temporary network for a customer and this item worked great. The on-board ports allowed me to connect all the equipment I had and then connect wirelessly to the system for audio streaming.

All in all I would buy this product again. This was my first time setting up a wireless network ,I am sure the next time will be better cause I will now what I am doing
