From my previous experience with Netgear products, it's very hard to beat price to performance ratio. Yes, there are better performing Netgear routers but for the dorm room is absolutely not necessary!

Works well,phone is clear as well.The wifi and Ethernet both function and have range with this device,strongly recommend this device,Comcast internet service.

I find this router to be perfect for someone whose network and internet needs are basic, and the cost is perfect for someone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money to have wi-fi in their home.

Happy with this product after receiving assistance from a knowledgeable friend who updated the router. Nothing in the installation instructions re: troubleshooting.

We have a two story 4600 square foot home and was having trouble getting a signal in certain places in the home. With the purchase of our new router we no longer have dead spots!! Beyond please!!!!

So far I haven't had any issue with this router. If you want faster speed a model up might be better. But as for the money it gets the job done for my use.

Do NOT buy this router if you're looking for a fast reliable wireless connection with good range. I have a laptop with a 300Mbps capable card and it only connects to this router and 90-120Mbps. I've even tried using it areas with no other wireless routers and still the same speeds. Still has the same speeds with others laptops and WiFi devices. The Ethernet part is ok but the WiFi sucks. Also if you want it to actually open web pages fast you have to disable security and use MAC address filtering.

Good router for the price. It is not as fast as I would like but it is far better than the Linksys G router I was using. It is great for everyday work and gaming.

Easy to set up. I've been using this router for about a month now and it works as it should. I can't comment on range because my apartment isn't very large, but I haven't had any issues at all.

I found the router works great for my needs - streaming and email and appreciated the Best Buy in-store recommendation.

I have the cable modem from cable provider and purchased this item to avoid the monthly $5 wireless fee and it works perfectly. I now have wireless as well as wired and save the monthly fee.

I'm no router expert, so I always purchase my routers from Netgear because of their great customer service. My previous one burnt out (used it for over 7 years) so I got a new one and it's working well so far!

It's was very easy to install and connect to my home internet. I'm able to use a few things at the same time and it doesn't slow down Internet connection.

I bought the router to take to Provincetown to use at a friends house while I was there. I set the router up at home took it to Provincetown and it worked great

not a high end router, but worked perfectly for what I needed. Used this, along with Ethernet over power line, to put another wifi access point at the other end of our house. Great throughput

Great wireless router. It provides great internet access to my dorm room and limits the data that I would have to use on my phone if I didn't have a router.

Product performed as expected. We did not pay a great amount out of all the products available but this product performed as expected.

The thing I liked best about this router was not the coverage, but the ease of setup and the lifetime warranty.
