I was in need of a moderately priced modem, so I started looking for one that also stood up, as my space to deploy was limited. This unit was easy to set up and seems to work in the areas that I've used it in. The lights are easy to see that it's on, even in the light of day and it has a decent range for all devices I've used it with, so far.

I purchased this wireless router so I can work from home I love it fast internet easy to use has a password so no one else can use your WiFi can use multiple things all at once my husband plays Xbox I use my computer and my kids each Netflix all at the same time what else can I ask for I'm very happy with the product

I had another brand that wasn't working well. The NetGear was recommended by a family member. Best Buy sales rep was very helpful and I was soon on my way home with a new, reasonably priced wireless router. I set up the router myself - it was quick and easy. It has been working well- very well- ever since! I am so pleased with the NetGear router that I highly recommend it to everyone.

I only have less than 10 devices connected at the same time (phones, tablets, computers, thermostat, tv's, dvd player) and it handles the load quite nicely. I think what I had before for my network was an overkill (N600). The only thing I didn't like is that my ISP company couldn't get the router's mac address to work, so I had to clone my computer's mac. I called Netgear support and they blame the ISP and, of course, the ISP blames Netgear... Anyway is working fine with a cloned mac address... So other than that, no complaints.

Getting a router to work in my dorm room was very difficult. I was about to give up before I bought this router online. When it came, I was able to hook it up and set it up without any issue.

This is probably common among most wireless routers but from downstairs to upstairs the signal was weak but this was also the case with my Apple Airport Extreme. I purchased a Western Digital WiFi Range Extender which fixed the problem and extended the range on the Netgear Wireless N Router and it has worked great ever since. Easy to setup and to use the administrator console.

Purchased this router, on a budget. I didnt want anything too expensive, just something reliable able to handle everyday computing, and occasional XBOX live play. After debating between this one and the competition, the reviews were spot on. Took just a few minutes to setup. Haven't had any problems or issues to date.The range is very good, I'm able to work on my laptop throughout the house without any issues. I also enjoyed that NETGEAR has an ANDROID app for this product.

This device was easy to hook up, install, and use. Has no problems running my wireless laptop.

Routers can be confusing, but this one was well-priced and works great for my small apartment.

Salesman wasn't sure it would be powerful enough for my 2100 sq ft home, but it works great Throughout and even on the back patio. Was super easy to install even for someone like me who had no idea what I was doing. The salesman did give me verbal instructions and with those and the ones in the box I had no trouble!

I bought this after having an older netgear for years. I asked several different salesmen which product to purchase and each one told me something different. Finally, someone came along and didn't try to sell me the most expensive product on the shelf but asked me my needs and told me that this is the product that would suit me best. He was right. It was easy to set up and my speed is faster. I am happy with the product. Doesn't cut out or fall off as I worried about.

Needed to buy a higher speed modem as well, but this router provided the range an connectivity that I needed. Good product for the price

This router was very easy to set up. Have only had it a short time but have had no problem.

I purchased the same product 9-30-2014. Coincidently, last week (almost 11 months later) I no longer had wireless connection-I only use my IPAD. Funny how NETGEAR programs them to die. So I called NETGEAR for help-they wanted to sell me a one, two or three year plan to continue to talk technically with them-they would not charge me to "bypass" the problem and get the router back in working order, however, they wanted big bucks for future calls. BS! Unfortunately I bought another router, same one as last year, for $40-$100 cheaper than the "extended" plan they wanted to sell me. The product is great - NETGEAR themselves SUCK as far as customer service.

This is a nice little router. Easy to set up and has good wireless coverage throughout my house. I especially like the Netgear Genie software that works with it, shows me bandwidth usage.

router connects to my iphone and ipad wirelessly but not my laptop. the "easy" set-up instructions, in my opinion, should be written for someone who has absolutely no IT knowledge. i got really aggravated, but maybe it's just me :O i ended up calling netgear customer support to get my laptop going. was on the phone with them forever when they referred me to my provider who referred me back to netgear support. finally i gave up and still (after 2 months) only have wireless access on my phone and ipad. upon researching *on my own*, the cause could be a wireless driver that needs updating on my laptop. so i checked that and got a message that i'm all up to date with the latest drivers. ugh. so frustrating. the router sees my laptop but will not connect to it. if i could get all my devices to connect to this router i'd give it a better rating. i'm only giving 3 stars because netgear bounced me around to my provider and pretty much said we can't help you.

This Netgear wireless router works great! It has a strong signal so I no longer have problems with my Wi-Fi working in different rooms throughout the house. It is very easy to set up.

This wireless router was priced reasonably. It came with very precise and clear instructions which made the setup go smoothly. I have not had any problems and am very pleased with my purchase.

Best use for the price, this router was perfect for business use and delivering great wireless network access for surfing the net!

Never knew what a router was for untill I purchased an iphone. The Best Buy associate guided me to what I needed to become wifi ready. The router was easy to setup and I now am wifi ready.
