If you want to go basic, go basic. If you want advanced settings, you have advanced settings. I am a service technician and I use this router in a multitude of different settings. I love that I can very easily reset and restart the unit from the ground up and configure accordingly to my current use. The range is really good and it always seems to just work.

This device was inexpensive and quick and easy to setup and is working flawlessly in small business office.

Decent router for the price. Not the cheapest, but didn't requireca disc for set-up, which is a huge plus since most laptops don't have drives that can run installation CD's anymore. Easy to set up. My college aged daughter, who isn't PC saavy set it up in her dorm with little help.

For $35 you can't beat the performance of this router. Easy to install and signal strength is really good.

Got this for my father who has simple needs, surfing, occasional movie download. No streaming necessary. Works well. Set up was very simple. Recommend if your needs are simple.

I had another older modem and it took forever to install i spent hours till i decided to go to bestbuy and buy a new one i had already bought this same one for my parents house and it was so easy to install i decided to get one for myself. It was installed in less than 10 min love it! Gave me a password alrrady so i didnt have to make one up.i also didnt have to use a disc and thats great since u loose those things and itsNot that expensive either.

Easy to install. Just boot up and forget it. I haven't had any problems connecting.

This is a great little router for the price. Fairly good signal strength and easy to set up

Netgear wireless router was easy to set up and connect, haven't had any connection issues with it so far. And I like that it is not specific to only one internet service provider.

My first router failed after less than two years, and so I went with the "geek's" recommendation, switched brands and got this Netgear. My house is around 1500 sq ft. and I was told this would work throughout the house, even though it wasn't very expensive. Set up was so easy, and the router is powerful enough to not only give me wi fi throughout the house, but at my horse barn, a distance from the house, as well. Boy, was that a surprise!

Set up was very easy! Wi-fi in no time! Range is also very good- smart phone, laptop and desktop all on upstairs floor and no problem with speed or connection. Good value too.

Bought this small size router for my dorm room and works great. Fits on my desk without taking up a lot of room. Glad I bought it

Gets the job done for limited devices. If there are more than 6 devices better to opt for higher end modems

This router was easy to configure out of the box and it actually looks pretty sleek so I dont have to try and hide it from view.

I needed a wireless router that would be dedicated to my digital mixer in my studio. Plugged it in and had no issues at all

I bought this for a family member who is not technically savvy and just needed a basic router without any frills. This router works great. Doesn't need to be rebooted very often. No issues with this router whatsoever. But, of course, it's not being overly used. Just a couple of PC's on WiFi that are not very far away from the router. I can't comment on how far the range is on it since the items connecting to it are not far from the router.
