No problems with install and connecting with other WIFI. Seems OK for gaming. Good value.

Just take this out of the box, plug it in and follow the simple instructions and you're online in minutes. I hooked this to a cable modem (Comcast) so I had to clone the mac address but that was the only out of ordinary thing because of the cable company. When I had it hooked to a different cable company I did not have the same problem.

ive been using this a little over a month now with no problems, i use it mainly the room that its in the living room, in my bedroom (2 rooms away) i still get about 75-90 strength. i was gonna get a belkin the cheapest one but the worker talked me out of it and told me belkin had tons of problems and said this was better, i usually dont believe what they say but for 10 bucks more i figured might as well.

My Netflix and online gaming were starting to get choppy with my old router so I decided to pick this one up. Glad I did. Took about 5 min to set up my ssid and password and I was up and running. No problems of any kind now. I use it to run a phone, ps3, laptop, and TV and it handles it no problem. I live in an apartment though so I cant comment on the range of the coverage but it works perfect for me.

I bought this router to replace a 7 year old router that died. I took the old 4 port router to Best Buy and was told to purchase this Netgear N300 as it was essentially the same thing. I was worried about installation as Geek Squad configured my previous router and I didn't believe I'd be able to do it on my own. I followed the instructions out of the box, inserted the install disk and it literally walked me through each step of the installation from attaching cables to naming my new network. I was floored when I finished and was able to configure 5 computers, 2 iPhones, an iPod touch, an iPad, an Epson printer and an Xbox to communicate with my new network! Bravo to Netgear for making wireless easy!

I am able to go to my garage at the end of my lot and use my laptop inside.Set-up was super simple. Great bang for the buck.

We have had this router for about a month now, and are really happy with it. I wanted somthing middle of the road as far as price, and this one was on sale. It has served us well for internet and streaming netflix through the Wii. Instalation was very easy. The old addage is "you get what you pay for", I feel we got more than we paid for.

Best decision I made after purchasing a LED/LCD TV with Internet access. Wireless is the way to go and this is one great Router.

Would highly recommend this router,easy setup and covers my whole house(split foyer).

Easy to set up. Unfortunatly it keeps locking up on systems that are hard wired into the ports. WiFi has no issues just my desktop computers. After 3 calls to Netgears support site they finally told me that My OS / computers were to old and that was why I was having issues. If I would like they could help go through my computer settings with me for a charge. I am running Windows XP/ Perfessional 64 and have not had issues with other routers. unless you have the latest greatest OS, I would not recomend.

I recently bought a laptop and wanted to use it for my personal use apart from the family desktop. Not being very tech. inclined I was hesitant to try to set up a network. The sales person at the store (actually a HP rep visiting) assured me I could do it and gave me a few tips. The set up wizard that came with the router could not have been ant easier to use. Within 1 hour I had the router, laptop, printer and desktop linked and running. I would recomend this product to anyone beginner to advanced.

I got this router hoping to take advantage of the advertised 300 mbps wifi but due to the router transmitting two frequencies for g/b/n wavelengths, this unfortunately limits actual transmission to under 150 mbps. Basic setup is a breeze if a beginner purchases this router but has a decent feature set for more advanced users. Many options to allocate bandwidth, including having individual computers set with static IP's which can then be preferred by the router and allocated more bandwidth. Router has an awesome option to be run with linux based firmware which infinitely improves feature set. I wish the router had gigabyte ethernet and dual band wifi because then the 150 mbps wireless could be ignorable but overall the router will do more than any average consumer expects to make them smile, price may be cheaper from a new egg.....

I recently bought this router. It was on sale for $39, regular price $69. They had a special where there was free installation. I could just sit back and let the Geek Squad do all the work. Only took him 30 minutes to hook up the router and connect my PS3 and Wii. This router has good range. It's located in the front of the house, and I can use it on my patio in the backyard without any trouble.

Great product. Easy setup and good connection speeds. Like the life time warranty and hope I do not have to use it

With experience its not hard to setup but I wouldn't recommend it for a novice but appears to have good range and is fast

I heard that this was a good router to use, so I purchased it for 59.99 on sale for my dad for Christmas. He will be using it for streaming netflix, and just basic browsing and email. He said that it was so easy to set up and it runs great, and is amazed at the streaming process was easy to set up and had absolutely no buffering also, but he has Comcast internet running at 15 mps. My dad is not techy at all and for him to say this was an easy set up means this router was amazing :)

Its worth its price you pay. It is very fast and its good to be up the speed of today with a fast reliable N router

This is my first router I have purchased so I have nothing to compare it to. But I can say it has preformed flawlessly. My house is a 1300 square ft. tri-level and the router is in the lower level and it works great throughout the entire house and in the garage. I don't know how well it would work in a larger home but for smaller homes I would definatley recomend this router.

I always have trouble installing this type of stuff. So when I tell you it was easy, I mean it was easy. Installation took maybe a half hour. 6 easy steps and my laptops, XBOX 360 and Wii were up and running.
