The products works okay. Signal strength is good. I am able to get a strong signal throughout my home (2 story 3500 sq ft). The only problem I have is that the router signal usually disappears at some point almost every day which requires resetting the unit. May explain why NETGEAR added an on/off switch.

Purchased this router to replace my old dynex that finally stopped working. After setting up I could connect everything but my samsung bluray that is connected via the wireless dongle. No matter what I tried it would not connect to it. I tried entering the pin, wps button and even entering the ip, mask, and dns manually, no go. after that I tried wiring it to the router and still nothing. If this would have connected I would have been extremly happy with the router, when I called netgear they offered me help for $68 for six months of third party support. I took back the router and bought the cisco e1000 and the bluray connected on the first try by entering the code. The cisco router does not have as strong of a signal but everything is connected and working and streaming. Hope this helps anyone with a samsung bluRay as I do and save you two days of headaches.

this is my very first router i have ever had and i mainly use it to get on my playstation network. and when i bought it i was having worries about how hard the setup might be but it is very, very simple to do, it probably took me 5 to ten minutes to do, and since the day i bought it i have had no regrets whatsoever

After a few minutes and few dirty looks exchanged between me and my husband, we finally got it hooked up properly without any interruption in internet! We live in a 2 bedroom home and it works out past our driveway!!

Working 3 laptops, Bluray Player, and XBOX 360 off it without any problems and very strong signal. Haven't had any major gliches or problems since hooking up network. Did have to reset the equipment once for a total power outage but wasn't a problem. This router powers movies through the XBOX LIVE, and Netflix through the Insignia Bluray Player with a great picture. Bottom line this router works for me.

I got this to replace a wireless router supplied by my phone company. The setup wasn't too bad, and when adding new devices to my wireless network it is very easy. Haven't had any issues with it.

extremely easy to install - so far stable and dependable, much faster then older model. If there is a " whats not so good", I have 1 comp I don't KEEP online, sometimes it wants "key code" re installed when re connecting! I have 5 computers (2 portables) and 2 wifi all in one units, and it handles them fine!

I bought this one as my second choice. It was a little more expensive than my first choice, but that product turned out to be junk. This time I talked to the good people at Best Buy and found out that this one was good and reliable, and they were right. Installation isn't the fastest thing in the world but it was very relaxed and easy, and best of all it works. I totally recommend this product.

After my older router was giving me issues, I had a super cheap one that worked for several years but it was time to buy a new one. I bought this because of all the good ratings. It does seem to work very we'll and is very easy to you. The dimensions are nice to for connecting with a ethernet it's easier to plug in an out of. Overall its pretty good for the price.

So, needless to say I am not the greatest with technology. I love it, it doesn't love me. I went into the Best Buy near work and grilled a rep about, say 10, different routers. We talked output, input, dual uses, multi-function, passwords, meddling parents...xbox late-night gaming...and nachos. Finally I settled on purchasing the Geek Squad package deal, Router and 3 Devices hooked up Wirelessly for $129. Best decision EVER! I've had plenty of other Routers and I am more than capable of hooking them up myself but this Netgear beats them all. The connection has been smooth sailing for the last 4 months. (bought in Feb.) I have my little brothers Xbox 360(streaming VG & Netflix Constantly), My mothers Home CPU(Online Games and Work from Home), My Toshiba Laptop(Work, General, Netflix stream) and My Sprint EVO 4G to Download Apps while I'm on the phone with my Fiance. (did I mention He and I are usually on Skype aswell..) Dang! I'm addicted to the internet... Well you know what they say, "We are living in a digital world, And I am a digital Girl!"

Simple and easy router for installation and use. I have it for several weeks, no problem so far - I mostly stream movies and it works fast and smoothly. Although I am using it mostly at my small apartment (1 bedroom), I found myself easily connecting my iPhone to the router in my garden, 20 yard a way (though I was told at the store it would not work perfectly at this range).

I'd never set up a wireless system before, but this was sooo easy! I had three computers and a printer all hooked up and running within 30 minutes. I run a couple home internet businesses, and I wanted something dependable and easy to install. It works great, and I'm very happy with this router.

My son uses it at college apartment. Easy installation. Good reliability.

Easy to get up and running and performance is good when it is working. Connections are dropped occasionally and requires a restart to fix.

I've had this router for a little while now and no issues! I had to upgrade my old router since I bought a new wireless HP printer. My old router wouldn't work properly & it constantly disconnected. So I purchased this one after reading reviews. Immediately, this new router picked up my wireless printer and BAM...I was ready to surf the net! So easy to use, so easy to install!

I needed a good product that I could use for my tablet at home use.

Pretty much plug and play as someone familiar with computer hardware. Just be sure to follow the instructions TO THE LETTER as if you don't I imagine things will become complex, and difficult to undo once the steps are performed out of order.

So far so good works great doesn't get bogged down at all, no sign of having to reboot it constantly. Needed to replace an older model with issues.
