I replaced my previous Belkin Router, which I had for at least 4-5 years, because I had to keep resetting the router. So far, I have not had to reset my router yet.

Great wireless router for my 2 bedroom place. Works great, no problems! The Best Buy employee recommended this one more than the higher priced ones and I've had no problems w/ it. Perfect for home use. thank you!!!

After finally getting a laptop,netbook and wireless printer it was time for a wireless router. After purchasing the Netgear wireless router, it was very easy to set up and use. Great value for the price purchased.

Great product, wifi works thoughout the house. Two criticisms, one is yours the other may not be. When establishing my network the installation disk was faulty. It said to go to a certain step but the program would not load that step. I called your client support and got caught in a revolving door, I would be referred to a phone number and they just kept sending me back to the original phone number. Finally someone said they would look into it and call me back, never did. I finally installed the network by using the option for computers without a disk drive. 2nd - I purchased a Nook from your store but when I tried to download books from the Barnes & Noble site it would not download. Their customer support said it was my wifi network

I put off setting up wifi in home since I am so computer illiterate. But, with short set up version from BestBuy guy, I purchased, took home and was set up in no time. Instructions very easy to understand.

This router is okay for the price and overall quality but I had issues with it interfering with my smart phone i was using. Other then that it works good.

I prefer Netgear routers to other brands because of the ease in setting them up and getting them connected to other wireless devices. This one was no exception. From unboxing to connection took about 15 minutes.

I recently purchased this product to replace a Belkin Wireless- N router. The Belkin i would not recommend to anyone who has an older house with thick walls. So the Netgear is a good router. Signals reached to my Bedroom through thick walls. My only problem is that i got a poor and fair connection but that might be because of my USB N adapter, im not sure. All in all its a good router but if you have thick walls that interfere you might need the internal wireless card.

I've had this router one month and it works well. It gives me fast wireless internet. The range covers my household and then some. They claim it broadcasts 100 yards in every direction. However, it was hard for me to figure out how to set up and configure the router. The included install CD didn't work for me but I found the installation instructions on their website. Go to http://kb.netgear.com and search for "Configuring your NETGEAR router for DSL Internet connection" or "Configure your NETGEAR router for Cable Internet Connection" depending on which service you have.

I installed my wireless WRN2000 in my basemnt at the far end near the cement foundation. My office is on the first floor on the opposite side of the house ( 58 feet ) and I am getting on average "very Good" signal strength. I was concerned at first because i was dropping the signal frequently until I downloaded the latest driver version of my Dell WLAN mini card and since then I have had no drops. I can actually Etehrnet in my office but wanted to check out the wireless signal strength. I am very pleased since I bought this on Black Friday this year for only $50 dollars.

Not the fault of the product, but the Comcast tech installed it because of issues with the outside cable connections, otherwise it should be easy to set up. Signal reaches all areas in a large home

Replaced a brand new (awful) Linksys that replaced my old (great) Linksys, with this Netgear. Should have bought this the first time around. No complaints. Great range, uninterrupted service. Perfect price.

I replaced my older router with this model. The speed increased and my overheating went away. I'm back in business.

I bought this router for a few reasons. It has an on/off button to turn the wi-fi off so when you are not using it noone else can either. It also has an on/off button for the router itself so in case you want to turn it off when there is a storm you don't have to unplug it. This is my 1st router purchase & it's been a good experience overall. I needed tech support & the NetGear staff were very helpful & courteous, even registering my product for me. They also told me about the lifetime warranty & how easy it would be to replace if the need ever arises.

Initial set up was not as easy as I had wished. Could have been Christmas fatigue. Good deal for the money. No complaints by anyone in the household.

Having had a Netgear router with less "grunt" lost when our house burned down last summer, I thought I'd get a new router so vistors could once again have Internet access without having to use my computer. The older model was easy to install and worked invisibly, like a charm. So why get one one with a bit more horsepower? I was disappointed from the installation onward. The installation CD didn't work, so I had to call technical support. I could barely understand the person on the other line because of his heavy accent, and he was very dismissive of me, even though I assured him I was no technology newbie. The router then worked intermittentently, losing the signal from my modem and requiring at least one reboot a day. About three weeks after I called technical support, I received an email, asking me to evaluate the customer service I'd received "that day." I ought to return the thing, but I live 40 miles from the nearest Best Buy #where I purchased the thing# and it is just plain inconvenient. After deleting everything, re-setting the router to factory settings and repeating the installation procedure, according to what *I* thought best, and not what some inflated-ego technician recommended, it seems to be working all right. We'll see. It's only be 24 hours.

This router was very easy to install and worked perfectly from the moment I installed it.

This is my first router, I checked reviews on others including this one. I have never installed a router before, so easy to install, I did it within minutes.

Great price. Easy installation and great range in a post and beam home. I would highly recommend this router.
