I've had it installed for about 2 months and haven't had to restart it yet. My last Linksys router hung at least weekly.

This is a great router. The only slightly negative issue is that the automatic setup did not work on my computer, but the manual instructions were still easy to follow.

Very easy setup and im able to support two laptops and a game system with no problems.

Sales associate recommended this product. Was easy to install and works great!

I just got this router at best buy and installed it at home in less than ten minutes( considering i'm 6 months pregnant and had to crawl under my computer desk it was very fast) I am not computer savy by any means but this made me feel smart =D I had my boys playing online with there wii system and my laptop in no time ! highly recommend

It works generally ok. In my opinion, it worths for this price. I do not deserve more

NETGEAR N300 Very easy to set up taking approx 10 min. Once online the signal was strong thoughout the house, 2 stories w/basement. Router was located in office on 2nd floor and basement signal on opposite side of house was strong w/no dropped connections. The recommendation on box cover that a N600 be used for multiilevel dwellings is overly conservative(for 2500 sq foot house). The router has not been used for video streaming and possibly may not be suitable for it?

so far so good. set up was done in a matter of minutes and the wireless signal is only dropped rarely if at all.

Easy to set up and love the many router set up options, ie turn the router on only during certain time of day.

Since I have had the netgear installed it is very useful, i was kind of ify on getting it b4 (just because I had spent money on a new USB chord and it was just the whole spending money on one thing and not having it work with my computer just worries basically). But just repeating myself, I would recommend this product to anyone who has a desktop computer, and to some one who has a laptop it is very useful that way two people, dont have to share one computer

I haven't had any problems with this item, and have been using it daily for about half a year. Works great, and very easy setup! Also, looks really cool lit-up!

I bought this router and had it shipped to my parents house and they were able to hook it up and install it by themselves! No complaints form them as yet.

After installation, the N300 was an excellent wireless router with my windows 7 laptops and desktops. However, the two windows vista desktops could not determine the type of network it was or would not show up at all. Even after patching window and download latest driver for all hardware involved the problem stayed. I returned to best buy for another brand that worked fine.

I really enjoy the Router and would recommend it to someone looking for a good wireless solution. The only drawback I had was getting it installed. I followed all the 'automated' install process and could never get it to work. I eventually gave in and called Netgear support. It took almost an hour of setting and resetting but when it finally connected everything was great. Functionally I wouldn't trade it for anything. Just be diligent in getting it to work initially.
