I had old net gear for ten years. This one took my speed from 7 Mbps to 15 Mbps. Excellent to surf with ipad

This is a great router - no interference, strong connection, haven't touched it since I set it up. However, the setup process was kind of a pain. The DVD disc that came with the router froze more than 5 times, and I ended up abandoning the DVD altogether and setting up my router through software available on Netgear's website. Overall, this is a great router and a solid alternative to more expensive Apple routers (which were my second choice to this router).

Just a simple review, I primarily got this router to replace my old Linksys router. The throughput of the router is a bit slower then my old linksys though, even when trying different channels. I cannot explain why it would be slightly slower especially when I am NOT in a congested neighborhood. I also have this hooked up to my 360 and I always have OPEN nat and 80% of the time I get host. So thats a big plus. In a nutshell it works fine. And fine on my xbox.

This is the third router I've owned, and by far it's it probably the best one of the lot. It handles a the traffic that my network has and the connections so far are flawless. Currently I have a desktop computer, laptop, printer, Roku2 Internet player, and a blu-ray player all hooked up and everything connects with no lag and streaming videos is wonderful.

This router was recommended to me because of how easy it was to install and get up up and running. I have to admit it was everything I was told it would be.

I was worried about setting this up myself, but the setup was easy and so far so good. The directions are very easy to follow. Even for someone who isn't techy

There are tons of routers out there, and I'm sure many of them are great...but I'm happy with my purchase.

Replace older Netgear wireless router. Don't notice difference in range, but noticeable improvement in speed.

This router came as a "package deal" so I installed it to replace our old "g" model. The range was actually not as good as the one that I replaced and I ended up mounting the router in another location that was more central to the two remote PC's. Note: I have a 2-story. steel framed house. Once the router was relocated, it performed well. Set up was quick and easy.

This router works well when it works. First thing is YOU HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THE NEW FIRMWARE to fix the speed issues. Its a known issue. The problem we still have though is the wireless signal just disappears after about 12-24 hours, and has to be reset daily in order to have wireless, this is with Comcast. If you have ever been to Mexico at a resort, its pretty much like that. Kind of sometimes works, but works best after you call the front desk and tell them to reset the router. Kind of a pain in the....

plugged in worked great with Wii, Xbox, Phones and PS3s. two story older home home with no signal loss.

Easy to install and works great! My hubby uses a laptop in the living room and I have a NookBook, and everything works great off the wireless feature!

It was easy to install, easy to access and it has lived up to all the expectations I have. As an external firewall, it makes me feel even more secure.

This was very easy to install. It's able to push internet through 100' of cad5 cable to my son's room for xbox live. So far I'm happy with my purchase.
