Setup was fairly easy and network was found immediately.

No problems with it. Easy set up screen. The wireless speed is pretty good for the cost of it.

Have owned for 6 months it worked fine for one month. After that it began loosing the wireless connection,frequently. I have three devices a, cell phone, a Nook Color Tablet and wireless Epson NX430 printer. NetGear on line support helped to restore connections and advised it shouldn't happen again. Well it happens again all the time. It have to turn the Router off and then on to get the wireless signal. Now, 6 months later, even the hard "wired" PCs looses the connection. Have to turn router off then on to regain the connection. Can't return it to Bust Buy for replacement and cant send the router for warranty because that will leave me without a router Previously had a Linksys WRT54GL that lasted 8 yrs without a hick up. When I went to buy this Neat Gear I asked for a Linksys but the store was out of them. The sales clerk agreed that he liked Linksys better.

This is the second Netgear router that I have purchased. The first was a "G" model. Needed to upgrade to accomodate an "N" laptop. For the price this fit the bill. Easy to setup since I was already familiar with the settings from previous Netgear routers. With the built in "wizard" it should be easy for a novice to configure.

This was a great help in being able to use 2 coputers in this house--and very affordable

Easy to set-up and works great for streaming video to my HDTV on the other side of the house.

I have had a wireless network in my home for over 10 years. I have used a variety of products including Linksys, Belkin, Netgear, D-Link and Trendnet. Some have worked better than others. My last wireless router was a Netgear Wireless-G which I really liked. I bought it to replace my D-Link because although it had served me well for years it didn't have great range. In the home I have multiple desktop computers, multiple laptops, 2 xbox360 and a wireless printer. My Netgear Wireless-G was great. It managed 3 wired systems and all the wireless devices without a problem. So when the NIC card went out on it and I needed to replace it. I didn't hesitate to get this device. The set up was simple and I had my network up an running in a matter of minutes. Then I started trying to get my wireless devices to connect to the new network... what a nightmare. My Windows XP laptop could see it just fine, but could not connect. The Xbox360 also saw the device fine with a strong signal, but when it tried to connect it said the wireless network failed to supply an IP address. I checked all the setting and could find no reason why I would be having this issue. So I finally called their support line. The tech walked through all the setting and tried multiple Encryption methods but I continued to have issues. My Windows Vista Laptop could connect but even in the same room the signal was weak. But no matter what we tried, we could not get the XP laptop and xbox360 to connect. The Tech's conclusion was that the XP laptop network card must have went bad, and there must be something interfering with the xbox360 (although the signal strength was excellent...). All of these devices no problem with my prior Wireless routers. This morning I will be packing this unit up and taking it back to the store to get something else. Maybe I got a bad unit, but I would not recommend this product.
