Not robust for moderate use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Router was inexpensive and easy to install. Worked okay for four weeks and then had to be replaced. I went back to a Cisco router (Linksys) because the unit stopped working and it would not reset even after I reinstalled the software.

Works great and at a reasonable cost; end of story
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nothing else to say. Maybe that tech support is good as well in helping with a PC-based problem. Good support is hard to come by these days!

OK at best
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Out of the box this was exactly what I needed. However within 2 weeks it started dropping connection. I reduced my connection speed thinking perhaps that was the reason for the issues. Well 28 days after my original purchase it totally stopped working and I had to return the product.

Doesn't play nice
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this router to replace a Belkin that likes to sign itself off the Internet. Unfortunately, this router wouldn't play nice with my existing wireless equipment. I have a roku box, three laptops, an iPad, two iPod touch, and an iPhone. One of the laptops is N compliant and worked extremely well, so long as I was near the router. The roku box is about 40 feet from the router and reception was poor at best. My iPhone wouldn't really work at all. Two days and it wen't back to the store. Looking for a new router again.

Good Router except for constant lose of wi-fi
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall it is decent for the $$. Set-up is easy. The problem I have is that several times a day (Everyday!) the router Stops broadcasting it's wi-fi signal; while still mainting ethernet connection on other devices. I use it primarely for Xbox Live gaming, Internet Blu-Ray player and my laptop. My Xbox and Blu-ray are hooked-up via ethernet ad I never have a problem. However, my laptop is wi-fi am constantly losing my wi-fi. When I go to search for available wi-fi networks my Netgear doesn't even show up unless I reset the router.

Not worth your money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I give this router a one star only because of how easy it was to start it up. I am like some of the people on here that had problems with theirs in 6 months. I do not believe anyone should leave a comment on here unless you have had the product long enough to write a review. My wireless stopped working right at 6 months. I thought it might have been charter but we bypassed the router and I was able to get the internet. When I notified netgear over the phone I was told about having to pay to find out what was wrong with my router. The lady was very rude and when asked to speak to a manager or someone else she hung up on me. I called back to get a recording telling me that I was going to have to leave a message for someone to call me back, it sent me to someones voice mail that was full. They are a terrible business and I will not buy another equipment from them again, they only care about how much money they can get.
