The NETGEAR Wireless-N Router work very good with excellant signal quality. There was no slowdown of download speed after installation.

Trust us who say this is junk... It is not worth the money. It worked great for about six months and then it went to h*ll.. NETGEAR's support is horrible.. They actually told me that there is nothing wrong with it if the power light is on. I am fairly computer literate and I know the basic trouble shooting procedures, so for the rep to say that was outright insulting. My second call ended when a rep hung up on me when I disputed their $69.00 support fee after 90 days.. My third call yielded a friendly customer service rep who directed me to their website, WHICH IS A JOKE! I tried uploading my request for help and feed back for four straight days and it never went through due to "technical difficulties"..Trust me, don't make the mistake I made and think that you know something that all of us who were ripped off don't. The unit will fail. You will be upset in 6 months. Get another router ...NETGEAR cares nothing for those who purchase their products, nor do they hire competent support personel.. Bad quality, bad support.

My son was glad he could connect and play with others across the US and the world.

This router is easy to install and the instructions are easy to follow. I appreciate that very much. Once it is in use, however, the signal strength is low and inconsistent. The occurrence of losing the signal takes up time and patience that I don' t have.

Not powerful at all. I get my neighbors stronger than my in house Netgear router.

Had problems with the installation of this router. A call to Tech Support provided no answers to my problem, was on the phone for a very long time listening to broken english answers that made no sense (scripted answers). I finally gave up and told the non support man to just forget it, I would just return this item. Router was returned and switched for a Linksys E2000 which worked right away. Way to go Netgear, keep sending Tech Support to India.

I wanted this for my children and grandchildren who use a lot of wifi electronics. It works well all over the house.

So I had to buy a new router when my brother moved out and took his with him. so i didn't want to pay too much money for one so i purchased this one. honestly the router needs to be reset constantly, and it takes a good five minutes for it to kick back on. it makes my internet wifi signal very poor and wont connect to my laptop when I'm in a different room. I also checked and it wasn't my internet itself because my internet is very good. I'm really getting fed up with it. it also wont connect to my wii or 3ds, i had no problem with the router my brother had so if you want to buy something worth your money instead of getting fed up with it I wouldn't suggest buying this.
