Customers are saying

Customers value the Wireless-N Router's ease of use, performance, and affordable price. Many appreciate its strong signal and wide range, making setup and daily use convenient. While some experienced connection difficulties or compatibility problems, the positive feedback on ease of use and performance outweighs the negative. The router's compact size is also a frequently cited advantage.

I only needed this to plug my access point into it. But it does not have gigabit ports so not perfect. But for the price its an ok router though I have not tried the wireless.

    Good Product - Beware Warranty

Router worked fine for 11 months, until I added a new computer, whereas it stopped working with any computer or device. I had to play Sherlock Holmes to find a "Contact us" page on their website that worked, then was informed that I would have to purchase a 6 month service contract for $79.95 to get technical support before I could get authorization for replacement. The original tech support coverage is 90 days, so in effect it has a 90 day warranty. After that you may as well throw it away and buy a new one.

I tried two different WNR2000's, they both exhibited the same problem. They would reboot constantly. They just turn off and on and loose connection without warning. After the same symptom with another WNR2000 I got a Belkin N router and it hasn't given us any problems at all. The problems with these Netgear routers is widely publicized on the Internet, I just wished I knew about the problem with Netgear routers rebooting before I wasted time And money on two of them. OH well, return policy's are great and the Belkin was $30.00 cheaper to boot!

This router was easy to set up, and I was really happy when I had it working. I liked the User interface. However after a couple of days it dropped the wireless connections completely. So I rebooted it. That reboot button became my new very best friend! I rebooted every couple of days, then every day, then every few hours. This Netgear router went back to BestBuy. Got the linksys. Which is a great product. So unless you enjoy spending time with the Netgear admin utility hitting that reboot button, buy the linksys.

Bought this to replace a Netgear router I already had that was having problems. First of all.. you need to be connected to this router with your laptop during installation.. worst of all.. I could not get my DirecTV box or my Blu-Ray player to connect to the router.. despite everything I tried.. I ended up returning this product and bought a Cisco which worked flawless..every device connects automatically.
