Customers are saying

Customers value the Wireless-N Router's ease of use, performance, and affordable price. Many appreciate its strong signal and wide range, making setup and daily use convenient. While some experienced connection difficulties or compatibility problems, the positive feedback on ease of use and performance outweighs the negative. The router's compact size is also a frequently cited advantage.

I had some problems with a router that I got from Walmart and took it back. I then went to Best Buy and got a better router for less and it works fine. Don't go to walmart for anything.

Had a little trouble getting it to recognize the password on my laptop, but tech support was great and we figured out it was a setting on the laptop, not a router issue (my laptop had a static IP address, and needed to be set to obtain the IP address automatically). But, like I said, tech support was great and very patient in helping us set it up on the laptop, Xbox 360, Wii, and tablet. Works great, and the laptop consistently gets 4 out of 5 bars of wifi signal...laptop is in the living room, router is in a bedroom down the hall. No problems yet, had it about a month.

This is a replacement router. The last one I had was a Netgear as well. I really like that this new router does not have a disc to use for installation, one less item to keep up with. Set up was almost too easy and when there is an issue, the Netgear "genie" is easy to access and so far has resolved all issues.

We have quite a few things that use this wireless router and it hasn't failed us yet. Reliable and now that I have a bigger internet package it works great. Even outside I have wifi!

I love this router! My old one gave me a lot of issues, it was a Linksys one. Netgear saved my life. It was easy to install, took about 5 minutes. It works flawlessly and provides wifi at pretty long ranges.

This router is perfect for anyone that uses multiple devices and is in a smaller location like an apartment. The price was reasonable and setup was fairly easy. I would reccomend this product to someone.

Set up the router in about an hour..longer than I thought it should take. The reason for the time was to do with signal detection... took much longer to establish a connection between modem and router than the instructions indicated so I may have interrupted setup. all in all a good router with a good signal throughout the home I have a work shop approx. 200" from router location and signal is strong there too. All in all a thumbs up.

I purchased this router due to the low price combined with an unexpected need for a new router immediately. Easy set up and smooth sailing so far. No lagging or speed issues.

Bought this for my grandma to go with her iPad mini. Works great! she is the only one in the house using it and it's in the front room where she uses her iPad so the range didn't matter for her. This works great for what she needs.

I purchased this after the old one burned out. Great thing: Wireless username and password were ready. If you are not a computer guru, then you may want to choose this one. Might be better: Since I am living in a small apartment, range is ok for me. if you are living in a house that's more than 2700sf, then this may not serve to all rooms. Speed: So far speed is good. There is no know problem. Sometimes speed slows down dramatically, but it's due to internet company not the wireless router. I would recommend anyone to purchase this item.

Functionally this is a great little router (so far). The range is a little limited, but okay for my needs. Also the router itself is very light weight and feels 'cheap', although I can't say that this is a bad thing per se...

I live in an old home with plaster walls so a signal was hard to get everywhere in my 2 story home. Until I got this wifi router. It works great! Speed and signal is great everywhere in my home!

I hate buying new tech that I've never handled before because every company's product has its own quirks, but this router was the only one both in the price range and the useage range that I needed so I took a chance. It was really simple to set up and I haven't had any problems with dropped connections. I'm not too sure yet how I feel about the Netgear Genie. I like the fact that it filters internet content right at the router, though.

This is almost exactly what I needed. My old Netgear router running the Tomato firmware was apparently not able to punch the signal through all the walls in the new house. The new router works except to the farthest corner where it fluctuates a bit. I will probably just buy a refurb wireless repeater to keep the gamers happy. Otherwise, no pauses on Netflix or Amazon, and the addition of wireless-N means that the Internet is now faster even with the default enabling of security. We don't use IP telephone but I am told Skype works just fine.
