This product is great for everyday use if your not into streaming videos or online game play, if you are looking for that I would buy the next model up. I definitely trust in Netgear products.

Used it to extend an existing wired network to an out building. Works perfectly. Very easy to set up, very concise and easily understood manual. Well worth the money.

The router had an easy set up because it detects your computer and attaches itself. This router was bought to replace one that had broken. The cords came with the new router and just had to be attached, electricity turned on and that's about it. The router does have a "reset" button that had to be used but the whole process was rather painless. The router comes with its own user number and also password and the company discourages changing the password which was rather odd.

Netgear products usually fit the bill for our needs, and this purchase worked out just as well for our home. Easy set-up and reasonably priced.

The Netgear wireless router was easy to install and I have had no issues. It is reliable and requires no upkeep.

Very happy with this product and customer service. I had to call Netgear and the gentleman walked me through everything. It was easy to install and so far doing it's job well... my house is small (1500 sq ft) but I can be anywhere and get good wifi :)

Time Warner my cable provider wanted $6.00 A month just so that I could use this item. A purchase of the item was a smart thing to do. I am over 60 and not to computer smart so I did have to have Time Warner to install it. It was easy for them and only took a few min. It cost $29.00 to have this done. My friend bought one and I installed her for free and it took me about 15 min. So its easy to install.

Was easier to install than expected. Actually took care of problem with wireless unit, works quick and easy now.

Bought this for a friend so he could have more than one device connected to the internet at a time. Was relatively easy to set up and get going and worked great for the most part, just after a while of use the wireless has a tendency to drop out and not come back up for some reason (in two weeks time it dropped out 3 times). Wired connection and everything else seems fine otherwise.

N-type router was getting old and did not seem to have the spunk to communicate with a Samsung LCD tv set purchased in Dec 2014. Not sure if the router-type was the problem, or if it was just getting old. This router solved the problem. It works well.

My 7 year old Linksys-G router began to fail, not the wireless, but the 10/100 Ethernet ports. I wanted an inexpensive replacement and choose this NETGEAR N300 because it was the best value on a router with the fastest Ethernet ports. It installed easily enough, and all 4 of my computers networked just fine. Haven't had any issues at all in the past 6 weeks of using it. Wireless has not incurred any problems, but we only have a couple of devices accessing it at any one time. If I needed a router that demanded a lot of wireless use, I would not have chosen this one.
