I've had two Linksys/Cisco routers die on me in the 7 years I have lived here. Decided to go with Netgear this time - setup is extremely easy. All told, unboxing the router, hooking up all of the cabling, and getting it configured took 20 minutes. Love the option to have a guest network as well, and you can't beat the warranty.

My old router finally stopped working, and I picked this one up. Was very easy to set up, had all computers, the printer, and console game systems hooked up within probably 15 minutes total. Since we got it a month ago, we have not had to reboot router once, nor have we noticed any performance problems. It's very stable and fast, and we don't notice the router, which is exactly what you want.

Bought this to replace an old and outdated router. Very happy with the performance and the size. Easy instructions to install.

I got Netgear because I needed a wireless router to connect to my HP Photosmart. However I find the service spotty. I have to constantly reset the SSID on my Photosmart when I want to print and 2x there was a lack of connection between the router and my internet this week. I wish someone from Best Buy could come out and look at this b/c it is a pain... I am seriously considering going back to U-verse at least these problems didn't exist.

Modem wouldn't connect. Provider said router needed to be reset, but old router manufacturer said since it was out of warranty they wanted $30 fee...ummm, no. Bought this new router and all is good!

15-20 years ago it was painful to setup "any" WiFi router. I know because I use to set them up at work. The NetGear Router WNR2000 Is a breeze to set up and be online in a few minutes. It recognized my Cable modem and set up the necessary IP addresses for all my device connections. The software online asked me if I wanted to update the router firmware. I did! This is a very good product for the not-so-tech savvy person to set up.

This was a real easy setup, has a very good range for signal in and outside of the house. Very affordable.
