I think this one just had an issue. I exchanged it for another Netgear router but the upgraded version. I have had Netgear routers for years and have had no real problems other than this one.

Easy to install router

The router was easy to install and it includes a lot of great security features. I was up in running again within minutes.

Acceptable budget router, not much else though

The config menus for the router are great, easy to use and understand. Just doesn't have a great range inside my house.

It took her no longer than 10 minutes from box to use. She even set up the security and was able to connect all of her roommates computers.

The only problem that I have had, is I have had to reset the router a few times. Not exactly sure if this is a cable issue or a router issue. Real easy to do, and comes back on in a few seconds.
