I bought this for my daughter who moved into a college apt bldg and it was perfect for what we needed it for. I don't know how it works with a bigger area but for a smaller apartment it is perfect!!

I had no issues with the router. Worked out of the box, connected with the cable modem and all tablets and laptops. Bestbuy also matched the price from Fry's, which was 25% lower.

My old router died after over a decade of use. Got this one as a last minute fix. It was super easy to install and works just fine. I moved from a 600sf apt to a 1,200 sf house the week after I installed it and it also works at the house just as well. We keep everything set up in the central area of the home. We no longer have cable so the internet is used constantly via 2 ipads, 2 cell phones, an xbox 360 console, a laptop and a google chromecast. If your family generally uses the internet for basic things like apps, going online, streaming shows/music/movies, etc. I think you'll be fine. We are a household of 2 adults and a 5 year old child.

Was shopping for a router to replace my aunt's dead one. Was steered to this model by the helpful clerk. Was $20 less than the one I was after. Set up was a breeze, She is happy//

Got this router because mine was causing my internet to run very slow and this one fixed that problem. I have no issues with my internet or streaming since getting this router!

This is a great router for the price. Netgears have always been good to me, and this one is no different. Easy to setup, and an overall great product.

This Router works great for what it was needed for. The small size makes it easy to place anywhere and to keep it out of sight.

This router works for what I need. I have 30 mbps internet and the connection is always great. The problems usually occur from the internet provider.

I am extremely happy with my choice of routers. Its the first time I have used a router and had no issues getting it set up. It seems to work very well with my laptop with no other issues that I can tell.

Great for college dorm! Very easy setup, just plug it in port (erethernet port). Wifi is also protected

I use this as a 2nd wifi for my son's phone wifi to separate from our other devices. I wish that you could allocate monthly volume allowance by device. But, I haven't found any router that will do this.

At first I bought a router that had a weaker signal and I was disconnected from the internet several times and ended up returning it for this one with a stronger signal. I have no problems with this one!

My old router had to be rebooted on a regular basis in order for everyone to be able to access the internet. The new one has eliminated that issue.

Really easy to hook-up and get operational. If you don't like the defaults you can customize in the admin screen. For example, have your own ssid as opposed to the default.

Bought this item to revamp the Wifi in my sisters house. After setting it up she was streaming fast and without interruption. Only took about 10 minutes to set-up the router too.

My previous router was dropping signal for no apparent reason. This Netgear router has had a constant strong signal, with no issues.
