I loved playing Pokémon Snap on my N64 growing up. It was one of my favorite games and being able to get an updated version to take with me on road trips or while lying in bed is awesome. Simple, cute, and fun!

Game is nostalgia at its best. Way more busy than the n64 version with solid updates. Although playing my XB Series X and jumping to my switch feels like going back in time as well (graphics wise) but the game itself is great.

For fans of the original N64 Pokemon Snap, this scratches that nostalgia itch and then some. A wonderful update to a classic game within the franchise, getting that perfect shot feels so satisfying, even all these years later.

This takes everything that the original Pokemon Snap game did right and does it better. It's absolutely stunning. Just imagine if the standard Pokemon games looked like this!

Great game. Very similar to the original N64 classic. We need more games like this. Fun and oddly competitive if you have others in the house. But a very relaxing game.

I was so exited to see this game available for Nintendo Switch. I received this as a gift from my loving husband and this exceeded by expectations. This game is just as good and probably better than the original.

I love this game! It is a lot like the old N64 version with some fun upgrades. I don’t know all of the pokemon anymore but that is ok. I have yet to see an evolution too, hoping to see that and discover other secrets!

If you love Pokemon, but don't particularly care about the battling this game is probably for you. Didn't play the original N64 version growing up, but this is a great game with a surprising amount of content.

We have been waiting a long time for this series to come back, and it does with a great game. Everything you remember about pokemon snap is back and made better. Cute pokemons, funny situations and more. Very recommended

This game was really fun for the few days I played it. I felt like it was super unique (as far as it being focused on snapping photos of various Pokémon in the wild). Cute little storyline. Unfortunately, I got pretty busy with life/work, and didn't get much time to really play it. I do think it's a nice little game though. I've always been a Pokémon fan.

    A Different Concept

I played Pokemon Snap on the N64 only a couple of times, but really enjoyed it back then, probably because the very concept of the game format was radically different from anything else I had played, but it was fun. It's been too long since I played the original version, and given my limited experience, I cannot make comparisons between this and the original version. The concept is still fun and original, even in today's video game environment. Ultimately, you are moving through different landscapes trying to catch the best photo you can of Pokemon in the wild, not unlike if you went on a bird-watching adventure and trying to catch birds up close and posing perfectly. The storyline is somewhat necessary, but really seemed to slow down the game. It feels like there is more to it than is necessary to play the game. I just kept feeling like I want to skip and move on. The controls are configurable, and I'm still trying different configurations to find the one that works best for me, but some controls, like rotating around from your current position, are hyper-sensitive and hard to get just right. However, practice makes this much easier. I'm not deep enough into the game to make an overall judgement call, but so far, I have not grown bored with the game, although if you prefer titles with more action, this one probably will have you getting bored quickly.

If you like photography (I don't) you'll like this game. If you like pokemon, you'll like this game. Like nature? You'll like it. Like rail-games? Like. Bonus, as of the last month, they've added DLC for free.

Only the third Pokémon game I’ve played. Interesting concept, have to be ok with grinding the same areas over and over again. Honestly it’s a nice break from the got to catch them all theme.

This is an awesome game! There are lots of Pokémon to see and snap a pic of. Each location is really cool and has lots of surprises. Still playing even tho I finished the game. I want to get all the 4 star photos!

Fun game, love the way that each trail can change as you level up. Keeps you engaged by asking you for picture requests of things you didn't know the Pokémon could be doing. A little more slow paced, and relaxing.

I was excited or a Pokemon Snap sequel / remake, but after actually getting it and playing it.. I think the magic is just lost when you're an adult. Gaming as whole has become less interesting as I got older. I I gave it 4 stars because when handing this game to a more casual gamer, it's a great experience for them. For me, it's just not a genre I'm interested in anymore.
