N64 version was much more fun

I preordered this the day it went up. The game overall was extremely repetitive and underwhelming. The original on the 64 was much more fun and vibrant. This one is seriously lacking in gameplay and scenery even though I will say the graphics are nice. I wouldn’t rush out to buy this if I were you and wait for a holiday sale or just spend money on a 64 cartridge and actually enjoy the game.

Pokémon Snap

It's been 20 years seriously lol I've already put 300 plus hours into this game but that's only because I wanted to 100% it and have fun online with a leaderboards and postings. Highly recommend it to old school fans and new alike, Such an amazing game!

Oh Snap

It feels like you need to grind each level to get perfect pictures and all the poses unlocked and it's huge trial and error to figure out how to unlock behaviors and what research level a stage should be at to get it. In the end, you're better off just looking at a guide to save yourself time but at that point, it's not even fun anymore. Probably better for younger kids who enjoy taking pictures and making funny scenes,

Nostalgic, laid back Pokemon experience

If you enjoy relaxing games, especially those that involve photography or applying filters, consider buying this game. Be aware, similar to the original game, it takes about 35 hours to 100% this game. It is relatively short.
