This dryer took so long to dry it and it didn’t dry straight and smooth like I thought it it would I’m also a hairstylist so I thought it would be good to invest in it I tried to curl my hair a few times with it and it barley curled my hair it also got very hot so I’m pretty disappointed

Defective, but replaced by manufacturer.

However, the end result varies and depends on a combination of factors – hair type, hair length, settings you use the product at or how wet the hair is before styling. If your experiencing curls dropping out, a few tips to help improve would be ensuring the hair is damp before styling, that the barrels are held in place until the hair is dry, and to use the cold shot to set the curls.
If you begin your hair wet, and use the pre-styling dryer prior to curling, you may wish to not dry your hair as much, and then when using the barrels to curl, ensure the hair is completely dry before releasing. If you start with dry hair and use a spray bottle to dampen hair, you may not be getting the hair wet enough prior to using the barrels. You can also experiment with a styling/setting spray once complete to help hold the curls. Not very user friendly and the blow dryer attachment doesn't even have half the power that the supersonic hair dryer has. Don't buy this unless you have a ton of cabinet space to store; the box with tools is the size of a carry-on piece of luggage. Big learning curve for the price. I recommend the supersonic hair dryer and a separate curling device; cheaper and more efficient.

Worth the wait!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been holding out since 2018 and because I was NOT a fan of Dyson quality (I’ve been through 5 of their vacuums). I finally convinced myself I needed it and my hair has been happy with me ever since. I have color treated hair and have always hated that crisp feeling left after doing it yourself; well, gone are those days! The curl holds on me with no product, there was zero learning curve and my whole head is done in 20 minutes tops. I don’t have that dry feeling anymore and my hair has gotten past that point it never grows. I’m attributing that to the lack of harshness from the Dyson. I can even add oil to my three day hair and still have curl, which is astounding. I would say I’m a devotee, so much so, that based on my raving now my husband uses the brush attachment on it to style his hair daily. Worth every penny.
