Posted .Hi Stephanie, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that in your use, you found the Dyson Airwrap to be difficult to use. The Airwrap does have a learning curve to it. For best results, start with freshly washed hair. All three brushes can be used on wet hair, but the barrels work best on damp hair. Use the Pre-styling dryer to dry hair to damp before styling with the barrels. When your hair is damp dry, it will look dry but feel cold to the touch. The curls didn’t set, the air wouldn’t allow the round brush to keep my hair in the bristles. Definitely not worth the price tag. I returned it.

I enjoyed the blow dryer portion but everything else was meh. I actually ended up returning it after a month and bought the The Revlon Salon One-Step Hair Dryer instead which was better in my opinion and costed a lot less!!

I color my hair regularly and wanted to invest in a healthier way to style my hair. I heard great things about the Dyson air wrap and I was a little hesitant at first because of the price, but I thought in the long run it would be worth it. The first day I got it I tried it out and I was so disappointed. It barely straightened my hair and I still had a lot of frizz. I know it says it doesn’t use as high a heat as other products but it still got as hot as my other straightener. I returned it the very next day. My one step hair dryer from Revlon works so much better on my hair and for $50. I’m not saying it’s a bust, but maybe just not meant for coarse hair.

Not a miracle blow dryer

It’s great quality, well made, lightweight, beautiful case etc. no complaints. However, my $50 Revlon blow dryer brush makes my hair smoother and eliminates flyaways much better. I’ve turned down the temp and the fan but it still seems to get my hair too hot and is too drying.

Beautiful Design --- That's About It..

This boxed set of items and the wand is well designed and is beautiful. I REALLY wanted to love it, but I didn't. I have fine but curly hair and bought the complete set because of all the attachments. It made my hair look frizzy and the attachments are not for curly haired girls, where just brushing your hair without pulling is NOT an option. I'm used to having a wand spin to give me volume and I had to brush the wire roller brush attachment though my hair --too tedious. Needs a heavy bristled brush, not a basic wire brush. The air wrap function was soft and light. Tried a few attachments; not great. Won't hold in my hair without a ton of hairspray. I also had to use a hot iron and a curling iron to eliminate the frizz created and give it volume. For this price, this should be a one stop deal and for me it was not. I have used better and cheaper products. RETURNED :(
