In this case, there are a few things we can recommend to help with curl retention. First, we would advise starting with damp hair prior to styling. This can be achieved with the pre-styling dryer included with your Airwrap™. Next, we would also advise holding the barrel in place until dry. Finally, the cold shot feature will also be great to help set curls, and lock in your style. We're happy to assist if additional support is needed. The price may be high, but totally worth it! I use all the tools depending what I want to do with my hair. You can easily spend $50-100 on a single hair tool. But why pay for separate tools when this one has it all. I don’t even have to touch the round barrels. It catches my hair and all I have to do is move the barrel closer to my head.

Curls can be tricky - if you are finding them to not hold, we would suggest experimenting with either making sure your hair is a bit more damp, or a bit more dry. Perfect for Thick Hair

I bought it in 2021 and still works and its the perfect gadget for my hair care! I have thick hair and i save a lot of time! This is a gadget you have to learn how to use it (be patient if you dont know how to blow your hair, you will thank me later)

When the Dyson hair dryer was released two years ago, it was a dream come true. It cut down drying time and frizz. When I saw this being released I was on it! Today it arrived and within a few minutes I had curls in my hair. It actually does exactly what it says it does.

Posted .Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Dyson products are designed specifically for the countries in which they are made for and sold in, and machines manufactured for the United States are designed solely for 110-120v electricity. It is because of this fact that we are unable to have the machine converted to meet the specific country electrical code and laws. In order to use the machine in a different country a power converter would be needed. However, we do not recommend using a converter, as the unit will not perform at the normal expected life of a Dyson product. Please be aware that use of your machine outside of the country which it was purchased may void your warranty.
Currently, the only Dyson product which can be used universally is the Corrale hair straightener. It looks shiny, frizz free and beautiful. The cost seems outrageous, but it truly is a great product. I bought one for my daughter and we currently share hers, but I think it’s worth the investment to have my own.

Posted .Hello Lizzie, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that the Dyson Airwrap did not work well for you. The Airwrap does have a learning curve to it. For best results, start with freshly washed hair. All three brushes can be used on wet hair, but the barrels work best on damp hair. Use the Pre-styling dryer to dry hair to damp before styling with the barrels. When your hair is damp dry, it will look dry but feel cold to the touch. The strands of your hair will be separated, not clumped together. Barrels require practice, with the right amount of dampness these definitely produce wave or curl. Hairdryer function is amazingly powerful. Cons: Expensive. Cold Shot is metal push up and HOLD (tiring), Beautiful Case has NO HANDLE (NOT A CARRYING TRAVEL CASE). Overall: Amazing all-purpose hair styler that does exactly what it claims, expect a learning curve practicing with barrels. FOR THE PRICE point, I'm very disappointed it is not a traveling case. That and a more ergonomic handle grip w/push in lock Cold Shot would have gotten this a FIVE STAR rating.
