It is very quiet and very powerful. I was impressed with the temp monitoring which keeps the dryer at a consistent temperature so it doesn't get too hot over time like lesser hair dryers.

Great for long thick hair

Even though she thought I spent to much, she gave away her ion blowdryer 2 days later. She completely blew dry her hair in 9 minutes (timed it). She loves this and the attachments are great as well. Worth every penny.

I had read reviews and seen the videos and for Christmas I decided to give it a shot. Please note i have thin, frizzy hair. I use to get Botox for my hair (similar to keratin treatments) that would help with the frizziness and last up to 3 months. But after i got this hair dryer i have not needed anything else. I now understand that a healthy looking head of hair is a combo of products you put in it and the equipment you use to dry it. I insist, WORTH EVERY PENNY.

The cord is thick and heavy and although holding the dryer itself was comfortable the cord added unnecessary weight. I also would not travel with it for that reason. I didn’t feel the tools were game changers on how my hair looked or dried. Super disappointed as it is a Dyson. Thought the technology would really WOW me. Nope.

It’s super easy to use, makes my hair shiny and dries in half the time. Plus it’s not as noisy as my old dryer. One annoying thing is the power supply makes a buzzing sound if I leave it plugged in. I get around this annoyance by pressing the test button when I’m done using it to cut the power. But, this means I have to press the reset button every time I want to use it/turn it on. It seems worth the extra step to me because I love this thing so much but if it was a mediocre dryer I probably would have returned it for this reason.

This hairdryer will dry your hair in half the time. The quality is amazing everything that Dyson makes seems to be top-notch quality. I definitely recommend this hairdryer!
