Love this hairdryer! It dries my long fine hair in under 5 minutes. Which usually took me over 15 minutes to dry. Also, the new Prussian Blue / Copper color is so gorgeous!!! ONE CON: very thick and heavy power cord with a large brick. Honestly, I am having difficulty putting the hair dryer and the cord back in the its storage case. Is it just me? Is there a trick to do it? Also, with the hair dryer itself so compact and light, I thought it would be perfect to pack for travel - alas not with that bulky cord. It would take more space and be heavier than my regular hair dryer. Dear Dyson, please redesign the power cord!!!

Good hair dryer! It is easy to use and not heavy and not that noisy like my old one. It dry my hair faster and my hair look shinier than before.

Okayyyyyy yasssss!!! This is a must buy for all natural girls this is not a regular hair blow dryer! I have 3C-4A , low porosity (takes my hair forever to dry ) and very thick coarse hair up to my shoulders , with the dyson I can diffuse my hair in under 20 min and blow dry my hair in 15 min. Unlike other dryers, Dyson doesn’t leave your hair smelling burnt or rough after blow drying. When I tell you you can blow dry your hair straight like going to Dominican beauty parlor your hair will feel silky smooth ! I highly recommend this product it’s worth the money trust me !!! I

I procrastinated, but finally bought the Dyson hair dryer. The price seems exorbitant, but it’s worth it. I used to spend 45 mins diffusing my curly hair and now it takes 15 mins at the most. Love it!

My family has noticed a big difference with this dryer. There is a lot less tangled hair. Hair is also smoother now too. Worth the price from a solid company.

This was a gift for my wife, who would never spend this much for a hair dryer, but even she thinks it was worth it. It is quiet, and her hair really responded to it better than the old dryer. And it looks cool.

I was reluctant to purchase this blow dryer based on price alone but when my old dryer conked out, I thought about a few things. 1) I have long, somewhat damaged hair and I HATE blow drying it myself. 2) I have to look somewhat glam for work on occasion. 3) If this dryer worked out the way I hoped it would it would actually end up saving me time and money on professional blowout. Can I just say that this dryer is SO worth the hefty price tag! I’m able to blow my hair out so much faster than I could with my old dryer, and it looks amazing. I only wish I purchased it sooner!

I hesitated purchasing this for quite a while due to the cost, but the Dyson dryer is totally worth it. I can dry and style my hair in about 12 minutes instead of the 30-45 minutes it took with my previous dryer. There was bit of a learning curve when I first used it to get the right setting and not over dry my hair. I use the higher heat with the lower air settings with the smoothing attachment and a round brush to leave my hair soft, smooth, and straight. The diffuser leaves me with soft loose waves. My mornings are less hectic and rushed thanks to this amazing tool. Definitely recommend. (I just wish it came with a case like the styler. I did buy one separately.)

Overall very happy. This is very pricey, but bought this for my wife for CHRISTmas. It’s very light weight and this helps cut down the time it takes to dry her hair.

I asked my god-daughter, who is a hair stylist, to give me a professional opinion on the Dyson Supersonic dryer. Her notes are included below. The Dyson looks different than other hair dryers, so it really stands out from the crowd. Overall, it does an excellent job as a hair dryer. I am not convinced it is worth $400, but it has a useful design with thoughtful touches (like magnetic attachments) and does an excellent job overall. If you can find it on sale, I highly recommend it. Pros: Light weight Fairly quiet Dries quickly Adjustable heat and air flow Back of the dryer doesn't have suction so it doesn't get the hair caught in it like a lot of dryers The only area that does have a little suction is the exchange(?) at the bottom of the handle but even if you lay that directly on the hair it won't get caught in it Magnetic attachments that are easily turned, adjusted, and switched Compact/easily stored Cons: Box on the cord is a little heavy which sometimes makes it a little difficult if you're reaching with the dryer Because it has such strong air flow you have to be careful around people's ears because that much powerful air flow might be uncomfortable or painful to some If you're one of those people who like to dry hair holding the "barrel" of the blow dryer you don't really have that option given the barrel area is very wide and short It may have no correlation but since I've been using the dryer I tend to shock them a little after using the dryer. Nothing while the dryer is in my hand but that kind of little zap you get if you didn't put a dryer sheet in the laundry Doesn't really fit in your typical salon hair dryer holders on account of it not really having a barrel but if you flip it around you can put the handle in just be careful not to put to much stress on the cord if it will sit like that often. Overall I like the dryer quite a lot. It's a good dryer, and I thoroughly enjoy using it
