I would say expect a lot of new stuff in this game if I could, but I can’t. What I like about this game is that you have the same great experience in a more powerful portable way. That’s a big step. If you enjoy the side scrolling Mario experience with some extra features built in, then this is a no brainer.

My wife and I couldn't wait for this game to release. We played the original WiiU version and loved it. The improved graphics, smooth gameplay, new challenges and new characters make this game so worthwhile. I got it at a discount too. Prepare to spend hours repeating stages trying to get those star coins.

This is a very fun game, nostalgic to Super Mario Brothers from the Super NES days. My six year old likes to play, although it’s a bit difficult for him. Hours of fun and not as complicated as 3D Mario games. Highly recommend!

It's still the same game as before, mostly. There are, however, a couple of character additions that just make it better. It was a good game to begin with, and it's more fun with the additions (especially if you're playing with a friend). It's also on a current console, and I can take it anywhere with me.

An excellent port of the Wii U game. I love (and still have) the Wii U version of this game, but when this was on sale for Black Friday I had to pick it up so we can relive the experience all over again in portable, switch-like glory. It does not disappoint.

Never played this game on Wii but my wife and I both grew up playing Mario 3 and World and this game is a gorgeous 3D tribute to those fun and often challenging 2D days. My wife is not too experienced with games but being able to play multiplayer on the same screen and having easier characters available has made the game so accessible for her. We often find ourselves chiming "you go first!" as we gleefully await the other to overcome the platforming challenge. Even better is that you can accidentally kill each other which makes for some pleasant giggle fits. Highly recommend adding this to your collection to play with friends and family, the multiplayer is where it shines!!

Pretty tough game for a Mario game especially if your playing with someone.

Although, I've purchased this game for my daughter. I've got a chance to play it and boy, it took me back when I had the original NES. The graphic were utterly amazing and my favorite characters were back in them. Now, i'm playing more than my kids. A must have!!!

Very cool game; I love that all the family can play the game together.

A lot of great memories from playing with my son as he was growing up. A lot of similar graphics. Great to be able to play mobile. Was able to pick it up quickly.

So much fun for the whole family! My 5 year old could play as princess peach or nabbit to make it easier for her. Multiplayer function is fun!! The game is otherwise similar to old school supermario world.

This game is absolutely amazing. Can’t go wrong with Mario. Wish it was a bit cheaper but still a great game!

One of best Mario games for Nintendo Switch. A must have.

This was my favorite Mario game on the Wii U and was excited to learn that mar10 Best buy would have a sale on digital copies for the Switch. This rarely happens and grabbed it up as quickly as the sale went live. One of the better Mario games, other than the price of admission.

All the old school nostolgia you could ask for and easy to play with my kids. My kids are obsessed and it's fun to play as a family

This is a great game for kids and adults. There is no difficulty setting but by changing characters you can make the game easier. Overall great game for the whole family. I would highly recommend this game.

If this is going to be your first game I sould recommend you get something else as this game is repetitive and lacks a big plot. Not saying is bad but if it's the only game you'll have for some time you might want something with more storyline. Everything arrived well at my door, the game is the classic Mario of always which get a little boring after some time but it's a must have for playing with friends.

The revisit to this game was nice but not really worth $60...I would say it's worth $40 at most. Nintendo didnt really bring anything new to the table with this game. It's just another repeat of the same old . It was nice to have super Luigi u, but still does not help the pricing. Side scrollers are fun, but really hard to do much new with when you lack creativity and try to stick with what worked 30 years ago with just new graphics. If you never owned this on the Wii u and like side scrollers then pick it up. Otherwise don't waste your money
