Mario deluxe is a gray game for Mario fans I definitely recommend

Super fun game. Not nearly as easy as I remeber Super Mario being in the past. But it most definitely keeps me engaged for a super long time. I enjoy all of the hidden tunnels, passages, coins that there are to collect (big three coins, not the little ones). I often find myself so determined to do really well, that I just zone out for at least an hour if I'm being modest,

Honestly, Nintendo has really overpriced this game but what's new? You won't get much in the way of surprise and delight with this game when it comes to big changes in mechanics or story. But I think it's a decent addition to your collection if you catch it at a good price. I got this one on sale for $30 and in my opinion, that is what it's MSRP should have always been. It's your typical side-scrolling Mario game that harkens back to the level design and nostalgia of the original classics. On the upside, it has multiplayer and allows for you to choose different characters whose abilities differ slightly, providing a bit of variety. This game is great if you have kids or have friends over for casual gameplay and just want to have fun. I'd never recommend it at full price but if you get this on sale its a worthy purchase.

Did you own a WiiU? No? Not many did. Well if you haven't played this game before, this is a must-buy! Simply one of the best 2D(ish) side scrolling platformers that only Nintendo can dream up. If you are one of the few who played it before, it is still a worthy buy, because it is on the switch and you can take this great game anywhere!!! The new "easy-mode" characters are very welcome for slow-reaction-time younger, or in my case much older, gamer. Get it (again)!

It is still an incredible game to play even if the new mario came out. It doesn't feel like the previous versions but it will give you high quality entertainment

I bought this for my son and he loves the game. I usually do research on all of the games to make sure he buys games with decent reviews prior to buying them since they are so expensive. He plays this one a lot and I got it on sale, so it had an ok discount. I only wish the normal price of these games was lower so we could buy more games for him. Regardless, it’s a great game and he uses it a lot.

Fun game for solo or multiplayer action. It's basically classic mario with a party twist. The new characters make the challenges easier so its great for all ages and skill levels. This is a port though so if you already have it and don't care about getting it on Switch just beware that it's not a new full game and didn't really notice any additions aside from characters.

I think I've played this game on the Nintendo DS systems, different versions, the original Nintendo 64, the Nintendo Wii and WiiU and now on the Switch. Always a great game. I will say that playing with the Joy-Con controllers for the Switch can be quite difficult. It's funny because it reminds me of playing on the DS but even then it wasn't as difficult. Hahaha still a great game, me and my siblings love playing it!

I absolutely love this game. I, like most people, did not play the Wii U version and I’m glad this has been ported to the Switch. Mario Odyssey was a great game, but I needed Mario 2D scroller. Definitely not as difficult as Mario Odyssey, but still challenging to be fun.
