The original for the Wii U was great. This one has great new features, graphics, and gameplay additions. One of my favorite mario games ever.

Great Mario Bros game, would recommend if you liked the original games

This game was good on the WiiU but the Switch really makes it shine with added portability and new multiplayer features!

Our family of 5 loves this game. You can never get tired of Mario. Playing two player is great because you play together and help each otjer beat the level at the same time.

Our family enjoys playing this game together a lot. A great way to spend time together. There are a lot of fun little interactions all over the place. Love using Yoshi to swallow not just enemies by also other players. :)

There are many versions of Mario on switch and most of them are great including this one Graphics are great This comes with a twist to a regular Mario and works great with the switch

I might be biased but I love super Mario bros so I think it’s fun

It's a bit more challenging than the other Mario Carts but the challenges are all worth the fun. Definitely a great buy.

I'm going to get this out of the way; Nintendo charging full price for this game is criminal. Other than containing the original U and Luigi U, there isn't really anything new or "deluxe" going on here. When New Super Mario Bros was actually "New" on the DS, it seemed like the Super Mario Bros game they would originally have made if they had the technology, but now it seems like they're making "New" games as if they were limited to the older DS technology. It hasn't aged well, and feels long in the tooth. I would have rather seen 3D World, or even a remastered Galaxy which by all means is a superior game, but I'm sure either one of those would have cannibalized sales of Odyssey. I guess if you're really nostalgic for the New Super Mario Bros games from the DS/3DS or the Wii, this is a perfectly fine and satisfactory title to own, or if you just haven't played any of those titles; Otherwise it's just the same game that appeared on the Wii U (which I think is the same game that appeared on the 3DS?). But I'm the sucker who bought it (again), so Nintendo has my money (and my heart *swoon*). Really, who's the loser here?

This game is amazing. You are guaranteed have a wonderful experience and have the benefit of being able to share it with up to four of your friends/family members. I highly recommend this game for anyone who has a Nintendo Switch.

Got this for my 7 year old grandson he loves playing it. He is always asking for me to vs him as he puts it. Mostly so he can slaughter me (he likes to win). Well it is all in good fun, it is a great game.

Love it! Kids are enjoying much more than Mario Kart! Much more entertaining!

Bought this during the Mar10 sale after checking the reviews. It's a good Mario style game that allows for some variety in the characters you use, including a super-easy mode for the younger set (or those of us who aren't too good at platformer games). I haven't had a chance yet to try the co-op mode, but single-player has worked well so far. Only complaint is minor - it would be nice to get a description of what items are supposed to do for those who are unfamiliar with them.

As a port of a Wii U launch game, it’s still as enjoyable and fun as I remember it. However, it’s essentially the epitome of “classic” Mario gameplay; it doesn’t take away from the fact it is a great, wonderful game, especially with multiplayer.

My grandson really wanted this multi-player game. He plays with his cousins, friends and even his parents (not gamers) are up for the challenge. He loved the game so much, I bought a second game for another grandchild.

Great port of the game originally on the Wii U. This is more of a 2.5d side scrolling mario game, more lik the originals. It's a nice to play a throwback style mario game. Great for getting kids into Mario!

Brings back memories! My 5 year old and 7 year old and I LOVE playing together! It’s easy enough for them but still challenging enough! Must have for a Nintendo switch system! You will spend hours of play!

overall a great game with exciting new gameplay features - I'm glad they found a way to integrate the series' past successes and blend them well with the new Switch capabilities
