Awesome game! My husband and I enjoy playing this game.

I wanted a game I could play with my fiance that reminded us of the games we grew up playing. She was so excited to play this game (I was too)! It definitely has the look and feel of the old school games with modern graphics and updates which I love. I thought this would be an easy game but I was wrong - when you play with 2 players, BOTH players are on the screen at the same time moving independently of each other and can run into each other, jump into them, hit them with turtle shells, etc! It adds a really difficult element to the game (in a good way). I tease my fiance that if we can survive playing this game, our marriage will be just fine.

It’s so much fun for all ages. The difficulty is adjustable and it’s similar to the DS game. So much fun!

Really solid entry in the Mario series. Maintains all the fun of the classic side scrolling games while modernizing some of the visuals and adding many of the jump tricks that Mario gained in his full 3D games.

This game reminds me of the old one. It’s a good game but super hard to beat the levels!

Got this game on mario day! Nice game to enjoy with family and friends. Also has added features from Luigi U which is plus. Has tips that help with younger kids that are playing. As well as guides if you get stuck on any map. They also added toadette and nibbit to the game.

It was very fun and entertaining felt like if it was a kid again worth it and very fun time

I can say that this system works for the little ones to take with them and the college child that needs a break while at school. I just don’t like the controls that come with it because I am used to the 9s4 and Xbox. That was fixed by purchasing additional controllers.

Super Mario games always have a good nostalgia factor, but this one is a side scroller and reminiscent of the classic Mario games. A few new fun mechanics such as the flying squirrel suit.But easy to play and fun to do so with others. It's a nice way to spend some down time.

Having been away from Nintendo consoles for some time, I had only played Mario Odyssey upon getting my Switch a couple of years ago and was on the mood for some other Mario games. I was excited that they’re stilling making 2D/side scrolling Mario games, so picked this up when it was on sale. Overall, it’s impressive and amazing to see how far these games have come. The animation is of course very strong, but I feel like there hasn’t been a big leap in quality in the last couple of generations of Nintendo consoles. Also, I find some of the game choices weird on this one, like not being able to keep Yoshi for more than a level at a time, and the levels that you do find him in are pretty sporadic. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I do find some levels very needlessly frustrating as well.

OMG this game took me back to my child hood. I could stop playing this game on a long biller train ride to Porto Portugal. The special affects where amazing and I was locked on the game. It’s crazy how it’s been years since I played Mario and then boom was able to pick this up quick.

I love this game! It brings me back to my childhood, pretty challenging which is awesome!

This is a very fun Party Adventure Game and a good ice breaker to get the party going! It is fun and competitive with many levels, characters, and mini-games. Played it for many hours and never get bored!

Awesome side scrolling Mario game. A must have game if you are Mario fan- I like the way that it’s a classic side scroller rather than a 3-D game such as Mario Odyssey, as side scrollers are easier to navigate for me. Since I was a fan of the 8-bit and 16-bit Mario games, this reminded me of those and brought back wonderful memories.

It's side scrolling Mario, need I say more!? Some people feel this style of Mario, (The New Super Mario) is played out and has been over used. I say it's still super fun and as long as they keep making them I'll be playing them. Do yourself a favor and pick it up, especially if you missed this one and the Wii U. This version has all the DLC from the Wii U version including Super Luigi.

Always like mario, super entertaining and love the graphics, I recommend 100%

me and my ex boyfriend played it a lot, after the breakup it was hard to play it because of the memories, 2 years later I finally replay it again and reset it to start from the beginning, the memories came back and I did cry a little but now I'm over it, I;m almost done with all the levels of the game and is super fun
