Another excellent Wii U game given a second life on Switch. This is a great Mario game and has great potential for couch co op shenanigans. There’s lots of fun to be had.

This is me and my family's top 2 favorite game. It's very well worth your money. If you have to buy your first game for your switch, I say this is the game that you should get for yourself.. Mario Cart is my top game, not only for me but also for my family

With the new super Mario bros movie out my family has been all about Mario. So we bought this game. But sadly they’re not geeky so can’t get past the 7th stage/level.

disclaimer: I wasn't the biggest fan of New Super Mario Bros. Wii. It was a fine game, but it didn't click for me. So when I saw the sequel, I was hesitant. I picked it up on sale, and I can safely say this fixed most of my problems with the original game. NSMBUD (what an absolutely terrible name) plays like a sequel to Mario Bros. 3. It's the 2D Mario game I never knew I wanted. A few negative points worth mentioning: As with basically all modern nintendo games, there are completely pointless motion controls that should have been mapped to a controller. But it's Nintendo, so they aren't. Make sure you have at least one motion controller (joy-cons, pro controller, etc) or you won't be able to move some platforms. the Luigi game plays like a nintendo-made rom hack. It had a lot of promise, but Luigi's physics are absolutely terrible. Coupled with an extreme increase in difficulty, I absolutely can not recommend that half of the game. It would be fine if Luigi controlled sensibly, but he doesn't. Wasted potential Overall, worth it for the Mario half alone.

This game is a huge hit with my family and is so great that even my 5 year old can play (although he always chooses Nabbit because he is invincible). Tons of play time and surprises, really love this game!

We play this everyday. Great for that old school Mario feel!

My kids loved this game! Such an easy game to play

My family are home during this pandemic emergency and my son introduced me and other family members to this game. It is very entertaining and there is something for all of us to enjoy. We have created teams to play against one another. You can't beat the orice for this much fun.

Found this game a lil difficult to pass when I got to the third level, very challenging! that’s what I loved the most.

Great game since it’s Mario. Took me CD a bit to get used to controls but I haven’t had a game system since wii and been without one four 5 years.

Its super mario what else can i say haha. I very much enjoy just sitting back and just reliving memories.

Good but not great. My kids probably enjoyed it more than me, but for multiplayer the game felt very overcrowded with each player often getting in the way of each other. However, this is a great game for kids and players of all ages. It has an easy mode for those not great with video games

Multiplayer has a similar "Why'd you jump on my head and plummet me into a pit" feel as Mario Party without being quite as relationship destroying. Comes with DLC from the original game, including characters to help less experienced players with tougher levels.

This is one of the best games for the Nintendo Switch. It is very fun and suitable for the entire family. This was available on the Wii U and ported over to the Nintendo Switch. I think this game is very fun and one of the best Mario games I have ever played.

This game is like a classic Mario game. The levels are pretty challenging but it’s still fun. The multiplayer mode is fun

We bought a Nintendo Switch to replay an old Wii game. This was the first game that we purchased as it has many different sports to play. There is a lot to learn with playing this game, but it is fun and lots of laughs as we try to figure things out.

I truly loved this game. The 2D format is great for those who like to remember first Mario Bros games. The game has several chapters and some of them are a real challenge (if you want to get all the big stars). I would that it is an easy game for experienced players, but it is still enjoyable.

This is a very fun game, if you've played a side scrolling Mario game before, than you know what you're getting into. One thing though, player characters don't pass through each other so when playing with multiple people you can push each other around. This makes for some fun(and frustrating) times.

It is an amazing game that can be fun for kids and challenging for adults. Picking it up in the store was quick and easy. 10/10, I do recommend

This Mario game is a great change of pace to the newer 3D titles. Definitely reminds me of playing the older titles, especially Super Mario World. It is challenging, without being annoying and also has enough variety in the levels to keep you interested.
